My kids absolutely LOVE the Children's Museum in Boca. It is so charming with lots of hands-on activities. So special!

Great for young ones. Not too big so i stress about her wondering out of my sight for a minute. The staff are wonderful and they have great supplies. Cheap membership and my girls could go here every week if i let them

My 3 and 5 year old kids loved this museum! It is very small, and low tech which does add to it's charm. They loved playing in the grocery store, and the bank. It definitely fuelled their imaginations. It was a rainy day so we didn't get to explore the pirate ship outside, but that also looked fun. The lady that was working there on the day we visited was very friendly too. We'll certainly visit again when we're in Boca.

We enjoyed our stop here on our road trip. Our kids loved it. It is very small for a childrens museum but very charming and it had enough to keep us entertained. They have a great small supermarket, bank and many craft activities. We enjoyed the pirate boat out the front too. It was actually better than the other ones we have been to for our one year old. He didnt get overwhelmed at all

Toddlers and children, who like to play pretend with realistic toys, will have fun here. This is a place for people of all ages who appreciate the rare opportunity to immerse themselves in an authentic and quaint atmosphere while playing and learning about how it may have felt to live right there, day after day, many years ago. It's a great place to talk about how great-grandparents lived as children. It's a good place to nurture imagination.This is a great place to use one's imagination. Kids can play grocery store, bank, or tea time in separate rooms for each to create a realistic atmosphere. The front room has stations for puppeteering, arts and crafts, two train and track sets, and some book sets. There is also an elaborate replica of the house with early 20th century decor. It happens to look very much like my grandmother's childhood home in Saint Augustine, FL. This is a place for adults who want to have fun with their kids in a warm and friendly atmosphere.Outside there is a pirate ship and a fort that kids really seem to enjoy a lot! Their calendar of events offers quite a variety of activities for families with children.

My girlfriends and I took the kids to the museum today. The ladies at the front desk were an absolute pleasure and there was so much for the kids to do! I will be back again...

The museum is quaint like a small cottage with many rooms for children to play in. They get to dress up and every room has a theme. Very nice for small children 1-5 yrs old max.

In this age of ubiquitous electronics, it is great for children to have a place to play with all kinds of old-fashioned actual toys. My 6-year old and 11-year old love to go there and make a puppet show, play tellers at the bank, and especially shop or "work" at the grocery store. Perhaps, as the other reviewer said, the pirate boat needs a few repairs but it's not so bad that kids aren't safe on it. The staff was friendly, even if the place was full.

I brought my daughters here and everything was dirty and out dated. The staff were not very friendly with the children and watched us like hawks like we were criminals! When we went outside to get away from the staring we found the pirate ship, but in disrepair with signs of caution and huge nails sticking out of the ship where a child could get hurt. In desperate need of a re-haul! We will not be going again.

This place is a converted old house with all the rooms filled with fun stuff for the kids. They can touch everything and nothing is taboo. My daughter's favorite is the dress-up room and the country store where the kids can shop with fake merchandise and pay at the register staffed by other kids. They even have a piano for the kids to play. Only expect to spend a few hours here, though.

If you have kids or grandchildren visiting, take them there... they and you will be impressed. City of Boca should promote this more.

A museum in Boca Raton that escaped my notice for over 10 years has finally come to my attention just in time. This children's museum is a little know gem that I wish I had known about a long time ago. Just took our almost 9 year old twins to this museum and they loved it. I don' think you would bring children much older than that to this gem but if you want to really have a special time with young ones in Boca Raton this is a great place to take those about 9 and under. They are trying to add more outside play equipment which right now is minimal, a boat is the one favored by our girls. The looks on the outside are deceptive, it looks like not much is going on inside but it packs a good deal in a small space and the price is right. If you are lucky you can even get a groupon offering for it as we did. In fact it was via groupon that we found out about this museum.

I know the rest of the reviews have been bad but this is a really cute place. My daughter is 3 and we bought the groupon deal and it was well worth it. She played for over 2 hours there! Yes, some of the stuff is old like dress up clothes but she didn't play with them. The staff there is pleasant and likes kids. I would recommend you give it a shot

This museum has been here for a very long time. It needs drastic updating to bring it up to the standards of practically any other children's museum I've been to in the last ten years. Sorry, but I think this deserves a skip.

Dingy, not very many toys... We were done in about 15 minutes. My daughters favorite part was the grocery store. Very out of date.
