the Castle concierge recommended us to make a stop in the town of Chester and pinpointed a few places we should visit. We absolutely loved this place...it's so great to see the talent in this area...

Carmen, our Castle Concierge recommended us to visit this place when we told her about our love for art and local artists ... it was a great spot. we enjoyed the entire town of Chester with its unique shops and all it has to offer.

Really awesome showcase of artwork. We were drawn to a sumo wrestler sculpture that had a surface texture of camouflage .

On a road trip from the midwest to the east coast and back, I got a little lost on SUNDAY and left the freeway to get my bearings. Thank goodness I did! Driving through town, I noticed this beautiful artsy building and just HOPED it was open. It WAS! Don't miss the opportunity to take this detour, if you hadn't planned to. The couple who own the business are lovely and personable and love what they do. Also check the website to see what other fabulous activities they have going on!

What a fabulous facility and an even better initiative!

we happened upon this place totally by lucked we were touring the area from Grafton to Woodstock in March. Suddenly we saw a terrific carved gold sun face on a building and I had to stop! We were greated by a charming hostess, who's explained that the gallery rotates exhibits, and the work was top notch. At the time they were showing work of Jack Dowd, a humorous collection of work that shouldn't be missed as well as fabulous graphic banners, mono prints, etc. They also have classes upstairs.

Penny and I have recently had the opportunity to tour the site and LOVED it. You simply can't drive through Chester without checking out this precious asset to the region. Contemporary Art at its best in the HUB of South Central Vermont, Chester. Just a short walk from Inn Victoria, this very special institute will benefit the region and YOU!
