Nice selection of stores and really enjoyed the shopping with the family and our friends. Will definitely return when in the area again!
Place has nice shops, theaters, and restaurants. Never too crowded and has a Granite City Brewery which is awesome.
This was a very nice outdoor mall to walk around. The overall landscape was spectacular. There is a nice cream shop and duck pond with fish. The only downside is the lack of good shopping.
The shops and the entire area is very clean and feels very safe.I would not be worried to let my kids shop on their own around this area.Loved it!
The shops at the Fallen Timbers area are fun and attractive to families. The area also offers activities to draw in the entire family. There is ice skating in the winter and outdoor concerts in the summer. The area is well landscaped and offers great small ponds and walkways. The only thing that would help the area would be to offer more dining and better parking.
This is a unique and great place to shop at. Has nice outdoor layout with restaurants and pond setting. Very safe feeling shopping there. Great winter time setting with outdoor skate rink and has movie theater on site.
I go to Fallen Timbers for three reasons. First, it has my favorite bookstore. Fallen Timbers has absolutely the biggest and best Barnes & Noble bookstore I've ever seen. If you've lost that special feeling for books that people had before the advent of electronic readers, stop in at this incredible store (complete with coffee shop) and I'm pretty sure you'll get that feeling back. Second, it has 14 movie theaters with lots of free parking close-by. And last, but not least, lettuce wraps and spring rolls with a glass of white wine at the bar at P.F. Chang's. Need I say more?? OK, I saved the best for last. It has a large outside fireplace between Barnes & Nobel, the Movie Theaters and PF Chang's with lots of nearby seating available so that you can warm-up in the winter or just watch the flames on a summer night!
Fallen Timbers is located in a really nice area. Easy in and out. Lots of little shops with a couple of good restaurants, movie houses, and 2 large anchor stores: Dillards and J.C.Penneys. The whole shopping center is beautifully landscaped and maintained. Originally there were plans for additional sections to be added. However, the economy has put the brakes on expansion for the time being. Perhaps with the more favorable outlook for the economy we might look forward to the addition of barber shops, gas stations, dry cleaners and some of the other businesses we enjoy. But DO check out FALLEN Timbers and you just might FALL in love with the place.
Love all of the things to do there. Movies, shopping, food, and especially the area to sit outside at the fire pits and play chess.
A nice mall that won't survive if they don't get more customers. It is delightful to go in and have the place to yourself and shop quickly but that isn't good for business.
Was a very cute outdoor shopping "main street" sort of place, but has the same shops as any other mall. Nothing unique except the lama/alpaca store, and that seemed out of place. Ended up spending most of our time in Barnes & Noble having coffee at their Starbucks and reading. Not outlet shops, no plus size stores, no specialty stores, no food spots, and way out in the middle of nowhere - nothing around it. Not worth the trip.
Unless you are a high end shopper, there is not a lot to choose from. I did like the Finish Line for it offered BGSU Falcon clothing cheaper than the bookstore.
We stopped in at the movie theater. It is big and clean. The price for admission was reasonable, but the concessions were pretty expensive. Nice employees. When the movie was over, we stopped and listened to the outdoor concert that was taking place. That was very nice. We also stopped in at Barnes & Noble - typical of other Barnes and Nobles.
When the announcement was made that Fallen Timbers would be built, the question was "Did we need another mall"? This outdoor mall experience can be whatever you want it to be... easy in easy out or spend the day. It is in the middle-range relative to price and the stores which are represented there, though there are also some higher end merchandisers. A few good restaurants, Barnes and Noble and a theatre complete the picture. It is nicely landscaped and has a cool pond and fountain area to hang out with your gal, a coffee or gelato. Check it out.
The mall was ok but I really do not like outdoor malls especially in the winter. Coats etc. off and on as you go from one store to another.
