I stopped in to try their wines as I work in Dundee at Lange Estate. They were pouring 09' and 10' Pinot and it was good to see how they aged. Dale is very informative and has been in the business a long time.

This winery tasting room was recommended by friends who had been there and we weren't disappointed. Our server was delightful and so were the wines. They served very (immediately) drinkable Pino's. Stop in if you can.

Panther Creek was the first Pinot Noir I tried from Oregon and it opened my eyes to the unique character of the wines from that region. Some, like Domaine Drouhin take advantage of the growing conditions to grow burgundian style wines. I find Panther Creek more of a local style. With the better vintages you get an amazing wild strawberry nose when you open the bottle. Its hard to get hold of in Canada, but a few places like Alta Bistro and Bearfoot in Whistler carry it.Panther Creek is a winery rather than a vineyard, so they are taking the best varietals from the region. They've been around since the mid 80's and have a constently lovely product. The winery is in a converted warehouse building on the edge of town. Hosted by a very friendly lady with many stories. There has been a change in ownership recently, which may mean that the last year in transition will be an issue. Lots of optimism about the new ownership and lets hope they continue all the traditions.

Panther Creek Pinot Noir is lovely! Have not had a bad one here, and some of it is very affordable. High quality for the price. Jackie is one of the most knowledgeable winery staff we have met in our travels. She is also very friendly. The tasting room is a cool old power generation plant. I understand the winery is changing hands, but it sounds like the new wine maker has a great reputation. Go try this wine!

Bad wine , high priced and even worse service thats what you get at Panther creek. Dont waste your time !!

We really enjoyed the wines which were being poured the day we were there; our hostess was knowledgable and delightful. Very nice wines by an excellent winemaker, Michael Stevenson.
