three forks hot springs

One of the most picturesque hot springs pools I've been to. The pools are at the top of a small waterfall, 40' above the river. You see the falls first and a little steam, across the river from the road end. A trail leads the short way up, and an old rope provides balance for the last bit of friction climbing up the final rocks. There at the lip is a 4' deep pool ending with the falls over the rim, clear, clean and exquisite. Above a shorter cascade comes into the pool from a higher pool that is more shallow. We had it to ourselves, resting in the moving waters up to our necks. Only complaint was the water was just a bit cooler than a perfectly set hot tub, and eventually we felt a bit cold.

when we spent two fabulous days exploring FORKS, oregon...............either we took the wrong SPOON in the road or the kind folks in FORKS forgot to mention 3 forks hot springs....now if you can repeat this sentence ten times on 2 shots of tequila....don pardo what will they get....a we love trip advisor NeptunePublicRadio tshirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!
