upstairs bar & grill

Recommended by Terimore staff. Very friendly atmosphere and friendly staff. I had the Upstairs burger which was a 1/3 pounder with ham and Tillamook cheese. This burger was so good I returned the next day and had another but this time added an extra patty. Add French fries and your good to go

We stopped for lunch. The property is a little bar and grill [we rarely go to these places] on the main street and we were hungry. My wife continued her quest for the best fish and chips in Oregon [later to be had in Astoria at Bowpicker] and was delighted here. I had some Netart Bay oysters that were fried with a light batter which were fantastic [generally, I like only uncooked oysters]. Local artesian beer was available, also good. The staff was excellent and we were able to overlook a meadow with the ocean beyond.

Love the oyster burgers and fish & chips. Well-stocked beer selection, occasional live local music. Full of friendly locals and tourists

This Bar and Grill was purchased and remodeled AFTER the no smoking in restaurants was put into effect in Oregon. There is absolutely NO smoke smell in the place, that is a big plus over other establishments who put the law into effect but their places still stink of stale cigarette smoke. The interior is very much in the fashion of the coast and the locals who frequent the place welcome visitors and you never feel an outsider. The full service bar is pleasant and the eating areas feature some views of the coast. Food is super, the menu was revisited after the remodel and it is great. Fish and Chips a speciality and worth the trip just for that. Lots to choose from on the menu and portions prices and quality exceed all expectations. If you are going thru Netarts on your way to say Oceanside or the other restaurant in Netarts do yourself a real favor and stop at the Upstairs and be pleasantly surprised.
