kiyokawa family orchards

Friends took me here on my first visit to Oregon and what a treat. Apples of all kinds, shapes and sizes for picking ... and easy picking too! It is a delight to wander through the well tended orchard and look at all the types of apples available. Wagons and boxes are available to take with you into the orchard so it is easy to load up with different types. If you don't want to do your own picking their store has all the apples available as well - to pick out of large bins. Staff are wonderful and very helpful and friendly. The views from the orchard are breathtaking too. We picked and picked and ended up taking 100 pounds of apples back to be dried ... and oh my goodness they are delicious. I am so, so envious of people living here and having access to this orchard. I also saw large beautiful pears hanging in the orchard - a first for me!

Great place to stop on the 'Fruit Loop'. The people are friendly and the prices are good. We had a blast picking our own apples. They have a great selection and also sell other fruit. The orchard also grows/sells the largest apples I've ever seen! Our teenager was entertained the entire time, which is not always the easiest task.
