Has an excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner menu especially for a golf course. Having the choice to eat outside or inside is nice. Service is excellent both outside and inside.

I don't golf, never have. However...My family has had two gatherings here and the accommodations were outstanding. Our large family was able to rent individual suites with a large shared kitchen that was a perfect fit for a cozy weekend together. The grounds are gorgeous, quiet and well maintained.

We stayed in the wonderful suites. They are convenient, only 10 minutes off the interstate. Clean, spacious, with private patios and lots of space. So much better than staying in Reno or cookie cutter hotel in sparks when traveling to California. We will be back.

This is a wonderful friendly beautiful and tough course. The view is outstanding. We ended up with rental clubs and they were totally worth it. Beautiful Taylor Made Clubs and they give you a sleeve of balls. We played the mountain course and it was very challenging.

Had the pleasure of playing Red Hawk Golf Course in Sparks, Nevada. What a great course for a very affordable price. I played the Lakes side which is a Robert Trent Jones Jr. design. They also have a Hills course which I did not play. But, the Lakes course is awesome, challenging yet doesn't beat you up. Plus, took my wife and she enjoyed it also!

We love to play golf at Red Hawk any chance we get when in the Reno area. Course is in great shape, but we were disappointed in golf cart which would not allow us to get nearer to green & had to go reverse to get back to cart path, although ALWAYS follow golf etiquete & respect every course and we do not abuse golf rules & don't get near green. I had recent knee replacement and there were no Handicap flags, etc., although we asked. The restaurant is wonderful offering a great food.

Certainly have seen and Experienced better when I got married here 3 years ago.Registration, GM just to mention a few could use some better people person skills,The Wedding in Sept was a mess since the time I referred them. Run around with Wedding coordinator, several weeks until someone got back to them and they weren't very nice or helpful. No Manager to help with the frustrating situation. -- ----Had to hand hold people to get the room set up and keep on on everything...THE REAL TOPPER... It was a Buffet dinner, DINNER WAS AWESOME thanks to good chiefs! The left over food was caught being boxed up and taken HOME FOR THE EMPLOYEES!! This is obsurd!- This should have gone to the family's who PAID to staying in the villas to enjoy the next day!!! RUDE- WEDDING CAKE WAS TAKEN IN BACK and BEING EATING BY 5 EMPLOYEES. I had to tell them to get that cake out there for the guests to eat, NOT THEM. I know these workers take a lot of heat for weddings but really, You all need some better training and hire employees who know what they are doing and are passionate about it, not just because its a job with FREE food, etc.FINALLY- A room was comp after family had to speak to General Manager. Champagne was brought after they made the Bride cry all morning. Really ruined her morning and stressed her out not to mention the family went to talk sense to the General Manager who finally gave a sm. apology. The maids came knocking on your door at 930 am coming into your room and made you leave.I will NOT refer any other friends here. This isn't the only time I've heard new staff/employees were rude, unhelpful and don't return calls and followup. General Management really doesnt seem to care and doesnt want to take care of things especially after they have most of your MONEY!!

The course is in good condition. A better than average golfer like my husband enjoyed it more than I did just being a average. Choose your clubs wisely and check your distances for a better score. Take time to enjoy the many birds that call the area home. The food and service was great in he restaurant.

I played in a tournament, so I had an opportunity to play both courses over the course of two days. For me, I preferred the Lakes course. However, they were both in good shape. Challenging, but not overwhelming. The pro staff is first-rate and very helpful. The only negative was the food & beverage at the turn -- a little unclear of the urgency golfers feel to make the turn quickly. Made it up to us with a wicked bloody mary.

I played there in the summer once. 18 holes are saved each day for members, which is only the right and fair thing to do. I'd rate the the course a 6 out of 10. However, it can be enjoyable for any handicapper, unlike so many new desert courses.

I play in Reno every year once or twice when on vacation as well as a group tourney and have played quite a few courses so far but this was the best! We played the lakes course and it was in great shape and the views were great. The clubhouse is first rate with a friendly staff in all departments. This is now going to be my go to course when in town!!

My first golf experience.................had a blast. The staff was friendly, the course was clean and groomed and the portable bar/snack shack was awesome. Good times

Open greens, some unexpected traps and good weather made this a pleasant course to play. I only played the Lakes course, but enjoyed it thoroughly.

Looking over the 18th green for lunch, great food, good value. Great for large crowds and nice for just two. The chef plans specials through the week. Great place for a burger and beer while watching the lastest pga game.

Always a challenge. Excellent staff. A "must play" in Northern Nevada. Water, sand, natural wet lands. Some great "risk & reward" holes.
