Regardless if you are passing near Atkinson Nebraska or live near a trip to RF Goeke's Variety is still a great stop for an opportunity to enjoy some of the best ice cream treats imaginable. Sundaes, banana spits, or malts, shakes, floats are still the best I have ever had.The last review before this one is over a year old, I want everyone to know that the store is open 6 days a week and Randy and others are available to meet your needs.

RF Goeke Variety Store is an authentic soda fountain that serves malts, shakes, sundaes, floats, banana splits, phosphates, cones, etc. etc. I had a chocolate peanut butter malt with hot fudge - a personal favorite - and thought it was quite good. They give you a full glass of malt and the tin with the left over - nice and cold. My wife had the chocolate malt and the kids went with cones and sundaes. Everyone enjoyed their meal and had a nice time visiting with the locals and the owner. Highly recommended.

When I was attending a conference once, a man said to me "I know Atkinson, it has a real live soda jerk" and he was exactly right. RF's has a soda fountain in the back of the store where you can sit & enjoy ice cream sundaes, phosphate sodas and so much more. The HAYSTACK is one of my favorite treats.

This a very nice dime store. They have everything you can think of. And the Ice cream is delicious!! Don't miss out.

An authentic soda fountain with floats, sodas, malts and phosphates. Really good, but so small sitting area that wait can be long.

This was a wonderful opportunity to walk the aisles of an old-fashioned dime store. I would go back and visit again in the future!
