Located in the Camino Apple Hill area. The property produces beer wine and cider. Grounds are pleasant and large to accommodate picnics. I have visited on numerous occasions. I don't generally miss an opportunity to visit their cave. Located on the back side for wine or cider. Staff are friendly helpful and know product offerings well. The various apples grown provide a good variety of cider choices. A small sample may be provided if you're unsure what is to your liking. Some are dry and some wet. The beers are found on the front of the building. Large enough of selections for most of the crowd. Like the ciders something to find for your liking. Usually order a beverage and sit back at the tables around the property. Also visit some of the craft vendors or food truck for a snack or meal.Place is peaceful. Beverages are good. Staff is friendly. Nothing bad to say. I'm a fan. A visit while up around town.

This long-established Camino treasure was a favorite among locals long before microbreweries became the latest trend. And its popularity is well deserved for its friendly service, gorgeous setting and, most of all, painstakingly well-crafted ales. I recommend getting a flight and try several different brews. Stay long enough to hear some local lore from some of your new friends at the bar. It's a great place to spend a warm Sunday afternoon.

Outright rude bartender named Nicole. So innapropriate that several other patrons approached me after watching her treat me so poorly. As a local, I will be spreading the word.. If you are visiting from out if the area, skip this place, it has gone way down hill over the years despite physical upgrades.. Apple Hill and El Dorado county are warm happy places, don't let this place represent... It's a shame and a waste of a facility.

First stop on our beer trek few weeks ago. Was a little out of the way and the GPS did get lost. Didn't realize the Apple Hill season had started so there was a bit of traffic but not too bad. We were able to grab a good parking spot and headed in to the bar. We ordered a variety of brews. Favorites from our group were the Apple Ale and the SIPA. We wanted to taste the Strong Blonde but alas...none on tap. Very nice setting with tables and umbrellas. Pints were only $4, 3oz tastes were only $1.50. They had a vendor selling dogs for $4. Beers were good, staff was friendly, parking was pretty easy although if they were really busy it may be an issue. Grounds were clean. Good beer, nice location.

Fun atmosphere . Great location and surrounding views. Great food booths and huge custom beer selections or you can bring your own picnic sans alcohol . They also have craft cider and boutique wines. Very kid friendly as we'll with lemonade and homemade corn dogs

We returned here again this year for a sisters trip and were very disappointed. Last year my hubby and I were here & had a great time, what a difference this time. Waited 5 min before any one appeared to serve us. The young gal that did come out was rude and acted put out we were even there. She offered no info on the various beers we were there to try and just waited hands on hips for us to make a decision. The entire point of being there is to taste different beers so we can buy what we like. Decided to just do 1 tasting and leave we were made to feel so unwelcome. The king fire was going on so there was very little foot traffic in Apple Hill. Too bad for the owner, we left without making any purchases and won't be back.

I am local and have been goin here for sometime. I brought in a growler from another local brewery to fill because I was having a number of people over that I thought would like the beer. The girl behind the counter very rudely said that they couldn't fill someone elses growler by law. I said that I thought, and I was right, that the law had changed. It is up to the brewery if they want to or not but they just have to cover up the label. She was very rude and I will not be going back here again. It's too bad because I really enjoyed going here but I will not give my money to someone that acts this way. Her attitude extended to the entire time I was there.

If you enjoy trying a variety of beers, this is a fun place. My husband and I got the sampler of 11 different brews ( 4 oz. ea). Most were pretty good, just a few were not to my liking. But that's the whole idea, right?! They also have a wine/cider drink, which I thought was refreshing. No food trucks the day we were there, which was unfortunate, as there's no other food sold on the premises that I could see. Out door seating was adequate, but I can imagine, it gets crowded in the fall during apple harvest.

... But, I think it's because I don't like the style of beer they brew. My husband and I each got a separate flight. He liked some of his but I couldn't find one to my liking. The brewery has a nice outdoor picnic area and offers BBQs on special occasions. The tasting room has a long bar and a couple of tables, which I imagine get quite crowded on weekends. We also noted a certain, well, aloofness of the brewery staff, who seemed to be really engaged in conversation with a couple of friends while kind of ignoring the rest of us. We left without buying any beer. Also, sadly, no dogs allowed. Even in the picnic area. NOTE TO CA BREWERY VISITORS: Starting on Jan 1 2014 passage of AB 647 allows us to take our growlers in to be refilled at any brewery so long as the label can be completely covered with a new label. Making enjoying craft brew at home even easier. Thanks Gov Brown!

This is a great, rustic place to stop for beer tasting after a round of golf at the nearby Apple Mountain Golf Resort or a day of browsing and pie-shopping in the Applle Hill area. They also have wine and mead tasting and nice picnic grounds.

Got the kielbasa sandwich with the cheese sauce from Blackjack Grill. Yum-o!!! That cheese sauce is da bomb! I licked my plate to get all of my cheese sauce!!

Worth the visit. We live near by and tend to visit spring and late fall. During the month of October it is difficult to find parking. I like November when the fall colors start to show.

Had lived in Camino for years and this was always my go to place for deliciousness! The beer is amazing and the views in the hills are always great. They often have busy weekends during the apple hill season so I tend to stay away but if you are in the area they have food and other little booths set up with various trinkets and finger foods. This place use to be pet friendly and also child friendly but due to people taking advantage of not controlling their children or pets there has been certain rules put into place. I believe No dogs allowed and children are asked to be gone at dusk. This I find to be ok as it is really more a "bar" per say than a family friendly hang out where children can play. I mean people are here to taste or drink alcohol and that's really it.

Outside seating. Lively crowd :-) Theeee place in town apparently. Right now the link is broken so can't check the name of my brew...but...it was blue berry something.....and it was good! I liked it. I'm very picky...don't like bitter aftertase on beer, so rarely really like it. The atmosphere is good, out in the boonies in Apple Hill, Camino, if in town, must be visited!

2 words....Pumpkin Ale! I like the fact that thy charge $1 for a tasting, you don't feel bad for dumping the ones you could care less about (aka Farmhouse Ale.) Kids are welcome and the staff is friendly. They have tents selling food, hats, jewelry, and BBQ sauce. Oh, and I about died when I tasted the BBQ sauce....one of my exciting moments of the visits! The brewery has a cave in the back that had a completely different atmosphere and was pretty cool. I would definitely return!
