I walked here for four years. I've seen all sorts of wild life, including snakes. Stay on the trails and keep an eye out, skunks love the area as well.

Nice place to get out in nature and enjoy the sunshine. Fly a kite, ride a horse, take the dog for a run or observe nature. Relax in the sunshine, play in the water at the rivers edge. Visit the nature center. Well maintained and clean.

Every Sunday my small walking group hike around the golfcourse on the horse trail, and we love it. It is just over 3 milesand longer if you go into Effie Yeaw nature center. There is lotsof wild life and it runs along the American river. Very niceand peaceful. There are nice picnic areas under the trees and a huge area to run your dogs or ride your horses.

There is much to enjoy about Ancil Hoffman Park. On the many occasions I have been there I have enjoyed running the path through the wooded area, relaxing next to the river, picnicking with friends, riding horses on the horse trails and much, much more. It is lovely, green and well maintained. One of the most beautiful places in Sacramento. I visit at least once per month.

Situated along the American river, Ancil Hoffman is a fantastic place to relax, through the football, explore the nature area or take in the river. Just can't go wrong.

A friend and I recently enjoyed the privacy of a relaxing river day picnic. I have also used this location to take engagement and modeling portfolio photographs

This park is near our Carmichael home. It's next to the river and includes a popular golf course. There are several paths through woods, meadows, riverbanks, and hills. The perimeter walk is 3 miles. Lots of birds and other woodland creatures to enjoy.

I visited the park with my adult children.. They asked what I would like to do on my birthday. My wish was to have a nice family brunch and spend time in Ancil Hoffman Park after. The weather was beautiful. We visited the nature center and had a liesurely walk down to the rocks to the water then looked up to see a gorgeous bird at the top of a tree merrily singing down to us. We ventured on to see wild turkeys , deer, squirrels, flowers in bloom, and all the beauty of Nature in the park. All six of us had a most enjoyable day together.There are many other trails in the park as well as picnic areas and a golf course. It is a very family time place to be.

I like golf. In the bay area, that means Presideo (now ruined because it was opened up to the Civies and Japanese Tourists have now invaded it) and Indian Valley in Napa (my personal fav) and Lincoln Golf Course. Although it doesn't have the killer holes the Bay Area has---Mistress ANNIE will spank you good if you don't give her the respect she demands!!! You have NO BUSINESS playing ANNIE if you are a beginner---spend some time at the range and then book a round at Land Park

Right along the American River, not too far from downtown Sacramento, this is a lovely spot for a hike and an interpretive center visit.

Had a picnic here and was impressed with the size and things to see here. Want to go back.

Go early in the day and you will likely see deer, turkeys, cormorants, red tail hawks, Canada geese, hares, caterpillars. Observe the River and skip a few rocks. Wonderful museum for children with living animals and interactive displays. Thank you all who work there. My grand son and I love it there.

Il parco ancil hoffman dal nome sembra un'avenue di Parigi, invece, si trova a carmichael, piccola località nelle vicinanze di sacramento. Direi che ne vale la pena pare due passi in questo luogo, bello, verde, spazioso, ospitale e ben attrezzato. Ovviamente non ci si trova al centro di londra, ma il posto è rilassante, ci sono i daini, gli scoiattoli e si può apprezzare la calma e la serenità della California,mes resa, varia e da scoprire. Ieri siamo stati in questo parco, fortunatamente da alcuni giorni fa bel tempo, quindi, la nostra esperienza è stata molto bella. Il parco è molto esteso, ospita un campo da golf e trattasi di una bella attrazione. Eravamo stati in questo parco già due anni fa e ho notato come la cura del luogo è rimasta eccellente, buono il punto di ristoro...tipico americano.
