I have played there a few times. There are some strange, but fun holes. One is maybe 100 feet above the fairway, and you have to hit down to the free. It is a challenge to land on the green.

The rate was $34 for a muni so expectations were low. The rate included free range balls. I was not disappointed with course conditions or pace of play. It was wide fairways and no homes. Will return.

Outstanding place for a great round. Golfer's that need a challenge will find this course a great place to practice in preparation for the big boys. Practice in Paradise. Enough said.

Although the greens are in great shape from care and watering, the fairways and tee boxes are not. The course is mostly flat and uninteresting with lots of trees to get in the way. Nevertheless, at $35 a round (with cart and hot dog/chips) I can't complain too much. Walk or ride. Play tended to be slow, typical for most muni courses.

They have made a lot of improvements recently and it really shows. They are really trying to make this a nicer course. We all enjoyed it and will return.

it's very affordable to play here, especially for Oceanside residents. Depending on where you hit your ball, you could have both an easy day or a horrendous experience. The front nine is more links style but the back nine offers some elevation changes and a couple challenging 4s. The greens are now back in pretty good shape, the last couple of years they've put a lot of money into improving this course. The driving range is great too, nice and flat for 300 yards, hitting off the grass. I love this place for what it is....

The staff in the golf shop was very friendly. the prices are great and the course is well maintained

This is a very open golf course. Seems long. Enjoyed walking it to play.

The fairways are in subpar condition. If you happen to be out of the fairway you will most likely be hitting off of dirt. The greens are in good shape but everything else needs work. I think the cost was around $36 for a weekday resident rate with a cart. I would only recommend this course if it is a last minute decision. Their are many other nicer courses to playbin north county.

I remember when the course wasn't in as good of shape, or had too many 5-some's. They have definitely put some work into helping the fairways and the greens are nice. I like the nice open fairways too.

I have played this course many times, as the greens are decent, but the fairways have always been poor or worse......I thought that with the change in management company it might have improved. After not playing there for at least 6 months, I went back and it's as bad or worse than ever. It's a shame because it's a nice track. There are some fairways that are so barren as to not even be considered playable. I think there are West Texas tracks in better shape. Shame on the people who run this course, and bigger shame on the city of Oceanside. Suffice to say I won't be going back for a very, very long time. An additional aside, there are a lot of hat turned around backward type players and lots of blue jeans and sneakers. I'd avoid this course until major changes are made. Again, it's a shame because it could be a great course. I guess some folks will put up with anything for an inexpensive round.
