almost worth a detour! the one good thing that came out of the King Fire is that we had to re-route to get from Nevada to the SF bay area, which took us through this farming community and introduced us to their wonderful corn (and heirloom tomatoes, and terrific fresh green beans (a real joy as there haven't been any fresh green beans to be had in No. Nevada in over 2 years).They also have a small outdoor café that does some really good bbq - their polish sausage reminded me of the home made sausages my Portuguese uncle used to make - a wondrous joy!

This is a must stop when in the area. The corn is the best. The have the best gourd selection in the world. Prices are very reasonable.

We stop by here from time to time to get fresh seasonal veggies. We have been impressed with the size of the veggies and freshness. A must stop. No GMO here!

Step out of the grocery store and go find the freshest possible directly from the people who are proud of their hard work. You can quench your hunger with pulled pork sandwiches or mouth watering items from their mini kitchen.
