This is one of my favorite spots in the world. Wine tasting with the most beautiful mountain backdrop. Time slows in Northern California when you drive into Alpen Cellars, passing the vineyards, approaching a humble home, and sitting at the picnic benches for your tasting. The family encourages people to bring games and relax as long as they would like. We always take a few bottles of wine home with us.
