优山美地村坐落在优山美地谷底中，芳草依依，鹿和松鼠悠闲的散着步，游客少的时候宛如世外桃源。十分静谧。小溪潺潺，瀑布壮观，HALF DOME的鬼斧神工可以远眺，真是人间仙境的感觉

看到雨后彩虹出现在山谷的那一刻，想象着，从优胜美地的尽头，向我们飞出一只神鸟，带我们坐上它，去到不为外人所知的更美丽的地方。

the attractions on Yosemite Village are nice and spacial, but not as good as expected it to bethe Village area does not worth more than 1 day visit

This isn't much in the way of an attraction. However, if you're visiting the Yosemite valley, this is probably the only place to stock up on food and drinks and the restrooms here were reasonably clean.

It's one of those places I always wanted to vist, it was like stepping back to a time which could easily have been lost, great walks around the village, with lots to see around and upwards, great base for anyone planning a vist to this very special valley.

Other than as a starting point for a hike, stocking up or grabbing a bite to eat there's really nothing here to make this a destination. It's busy too and some parts are quite unattractive when set against the rest of the park and much better views can be found elsewhere. River is quite nice to potter around beside.

Lot's of concessions, stores, huge parking lots, people. Reminds you of what you are trying to get away from. However if you go, the Visitors Center is a must along with the Yosemite Museum and the Falls.

So wives and girlfriends, give the "no speeding" lecture and Good Moms and Good Dads , give the "no shoplifting" lecture.The judges pride themselves on expensive ruining your vacation if you start a bar fight or cross the line.The best/fav shop stop is Ansel Adams, natch.Then the Visitor Center and Indian Village and Museum.You "Must" see native California indian Mrs. Julia Parker, if she is making fine woven baskets in the Museum !!MUST.

At the nice market they sell everything from groceries to t shirts to souvenirs. You can find all sorts of healthy food to junk food here. Prices are a bit steep but you would expect that in this remote location. Good values in the closeout section over to the side. Post office, visitor center and Degman;s deli were all open. Other fast food was closed when I was there.Was surprising how many visitors were there.

This is a good central place to hang out and walk around in the park but is very crowded even on a weekday during summer. Finding parking is a real nightmare even if you want to take the shuttles to other parts of the park.

Yes, most of the dining & retail needs updating but overall the feel of the village in the park is worth going to. Everything is walkable & we saw deer roam free as we walked from place to place.

This is the shopping area for Yosemite. Since they need to truck things into the valley floor, prices will generally be higher than if you bought ahead and brought them with you. Parking and lines can be dramatically long. However given that, they do provide a wide range of things that you might like to have while on ones vacation in Yosemite. We have gone there - its part of the life for a multiple day stay - but its not the highlight of our trip in any way.

Good luck finding a place to park. And this is purportedly the OFF season.Area sorely in need of some replanning and reworking. Where possible, take the shuttles.

If you cannot find what you need at the Valley Visitor Center (groceries, souvenirs, etc.), surely you can in Yosemite Village. I saw other reviews about their being short-staffed, but that was not a problem when we visited late in the year.

Yosemite National Park is stunning and for a visitor to the US, a once in a lifetime experience. With a national park policy of open access for all, this is where Yosemite Village achieves that goal, but the price is very high. With over 200 lodges and coach loads of visitors every day it is very crowded. The very antitheses of what most visitors to a national park would expect. The lodges are comfortable and clean but the catering provision rather basic except for the resteraunt which is okay. For breakfast, lunch and fast food then the Food Court is where people aim for. It needs revising and updating. Think school dinners in the fifties and this is about the level of provision.
