我在两年之间,第二次造访Carmel,这里真是一个美丽的小镇,在主要街道的两旁,每一家商店,每一间餐厅,都打造得极有特色,素雅又美丽.这次我也去了公共海滩,极为细柔的白沙,长达数哩的海岸线,还有云雾围绕,构成一幅天然美景.

离开17英里不久就到了Carmel by the Sea，号称美西最具风情的小镇；每一家的房子都精心装扮过。身处其中，自然的感到舒适安宁。我们在一家法国餐馆吃了午餐，果然分量比老美的小多了，想想未来去欧洲的话，成本绝对要高不少哦。

Yes, I was star struck. Billy Bob was on the beach next to me and gave me a nice smile. Beach was lovely and Billy Bob was the icing on the cake.

Great place for a beach stroll. Dog friendly. The houses along the path above beach are just as interesting as the beach.

From our dogs point of view - "there are many beaches in California, but this beach, these waters, this sand, this view, its pure delight"

Wow this beach really blew us away. Not only could we bring our dog to the beach, but the beach is one of the best we have been to. The water is super clear, we think it may be clearer than what we have seen in Hawaii and the Carribean.

Loved this beach! A lot of kelp about in groups, but well used beach by locals and visitors alike. Lots of well behaved dogs here, with responsible owners. Did some beach combing, but not super productive. Loved that a portion of the beach can be used for "warming" fires. There are well spelled out rules and regulations regarding these on the web. Relaxing time. Some transients showed up after dark, so just be aware. If you are going to stay for the sunset, a flashlight would be a good item to have as it gets dark there! Almost everyone we talked with there was very friendly! Definitely going back!

It is a delightful walk along the lovely white sand with people and their dogs enjoying the beach as well . There are some surfers out there testing their skills . The cliffs with Pebble Beach Golf Links are majestic , making one very envious of playing there. If you are a beach lover then this is a must do.

It rained just before we arrived and sprinkled off and on during our walk but did not deter us from this amazing beach. I have never seem such white sand - so pretty. Also about half way down the beach there is a public restroom up by the street that has got to be one of the cleanest public restrooms I have ever seen. Lots of dogs off leash on this beach, but on the day that we were there there were so few people (because of the rain I am sure) that it was not an issue.

A most beautiful beach area and town, my favourite place of the whole trip! Would like to stay longer

this was worth the drive and is highly recommended. it's a great attraction for the weekend traveler and is highly encouraged.

If you had the foresight to bring a picnic lunch to Carmel, this is the place to eat it. From the beach you have an impressive view of the bay and Pebble Beach. And people (and pet) watching can keep you interested for quite some time.Parking is free, but can be tight. Try the side roads a block or two above the beach. If you're prepared to walk two or three short blocks to the beach, you'll probably be successful.

Gorgeous coved beach much more private than main Carmel beach with parking lot and restrooms. Avoid the crowds and head around the corner to this spot.

Great for taking pictures. Nice beaches. Right off the pch. Great place to relax and enjoy nature. Enjoy.

Soft white sand beach right in Carmel that wraps gently around to Pebble Beach. Great spot for sunsets with a bottle of wine or building sand castles with the kiddos.
