marshal's winery

This is a great spot for wine tasting in the Columbia River Gorge. Ron and his wife are very hospitable and their wines are delicious. Best bets are the Sweet Anna Marie and the Zinfandel. The atmosphere is the antithethis of pretentious, and the pours are extremely generous. We'll worth the trip across the river from The Dalles. Highly recommended.

This place is very unique. Wines are great. Definitely a place to try. It won't be your fancy spots. Marshal and his wife are great hosts.

Located just off Hwy 14 in Washington, a few miles north of The Dalles, OR is Marshal's Winery. The owner is a well-known and charismatic local wine maker, who has been producing wines since 1957. Well worth a visit.
