My wife and I decided to check out this 21+ theater for our 1 year anniversary. The seating was comfortable and the food decent although a bit overpriced for the portions. Our service was good and I liked the interior decorating with the assortment of over sized movie posters. It was also nice that we didn't have to worry about kids yelling and screaming in the theater. We would go again if we can't afford IPic.
I like the fact that I can go to a place and enjoy a movie, a good burger and a glass of beer. It's nice to get a break from a regular theater experience. Servers take your order and you get your food and drink to enjoy with the movie. You get the bill and pay before the movie is through. Very efficient.
We really enjoy Cinebarre. Primarily for the experience of being able to eat a good meal, have a microbrew from tap, and enjoy a movie all at once. Overall, the food is good and decent price (think Red Robin pricing without the endless fries). All of the theatres have been freshly renovated. The seats are comfortable when hanging out before the movie, but are a bit stiff - so sit in further back rows if you have any neck issues. Also, by nature of the movie-bar and the need to see where you are delivering food, the lights do not dim as much as I would like. Great place for adults - just remember to bring your ID because you are carded before entering. :)
My wife and I are regulars at Cinnebarre and rarely go to the other theaters in our area. Why? Because they serve alcohol. I don’t drink but I benefit from the theater having a liquor license. Translation: There are no misbehaving children or heaven forbid a crying infant. An additional bonus is that, since food is served, the theater has removed every other row to accommodate a wide rail for you to dine at while watching the movie. The benefit of this arrangement is that no one, regardless of height, will sit in front of you and block the screen. While the food and drinks are a little pricey, you are not required to meet a ‘cover charge’. As for the quality of the food, it is definitely bar fare ranging from potato skins to pizza, and all good. I am able to make my own schedule and prefer the early and mid afternoon shows. While I don’t know what an evening show capacity is, we have always had the pleasure of a near empty theater where the patrons enjoy the movie and remain QUIET.
Movie ticket on Tues only $6; which gives your more room to spend on libations and food during the movie. Service staff must all take lessons in tuck and roll. Never felt interrupted by our next refill or clearing away the remains. 21 and over only.
This place combines movies with dining. But the best thing is NO KIDS.Movies are what you pick and the food is good. The items are named funny after some movies. The selection of alcohol is good too. Overall this is a good experience.
Cinebarre is a lot of fun. It turns seeing a movie into an experience bigger than just the movie. From the bar, the pool tables and the retro movie posters in the lobby to the food and bar service available in the theater. This is my favorite place to see a movie.
Saw Guardians of the Galaxy and ordered a gluten-free pizza, which arrived just as the movie was starting. Loved being able to nibble while enjoying a great flick!
Only "Eat-while-you-watch-a-movie" in the area. Food is surprisingly good. Service can be slow if they are crowded. Movie shorts leading up to the main feature can be rather strange, but often entertaining.
The concept is awesome. The seats were great with the option to raise arm rests for more room, and the quality of the movie was good. We showed up early as the webpage suggested, and were the second couple in the theater. Unfortunately, everyone that came in after us got served before us because apparently servers are responsible for certain seats. Finally, I went out to the bar to get drinks after another server said they would get our server, and I still made it back before our server made it to us. Other than that, the drinks came very quickly once we ordered. Menu was good if you like bar type food. Recommend the fried pickles, but the pizza was undercooked. All the items, food and drink, were priced high, but that is to be expected in this type of setup. We ordered our tickets online so we would not have to wait, but all that did was secure our tickets. We still had to wait in the mixed line to collect the tickets, so leave a bit of extra time for that. Overall, the servers moving in and out of the theater caused very little distraction and in the end it was a good experience for date night.
I do love the fact that I can get both at the same time, it's very time efficient. The food is pretty tasty too. I've tried a few things, but tend to stick with the Last Tango in Paris (prime rib dip). Fries are crunchy and delicious as well. They now have a full bar which has definitely upped their game as well. Though, it starts to add up. My husband and I frequent this place at least once a month and when they announced they had a full bar, we ran right down to check it out. We ordered Bailey's & coffee and were disappointed with the amount of Bailey's. We asked for another shot each and then we were on the right track. But for two coffees now with 2 shots it was $36. Yeah, seriously. My only other complaint is that on more than one occasion we seem to have timed our arrival poorly and been skipped during the initial rounds by our rows waiter. When this happens, the food takes forever, drinks come out after you've eaten most of your food and appetizers come later. I would recommend it, definitely, but do come early if you plan on eating a proper meal. If you show up right as the trailers kick in, the food service gets a bit wonky.
We had heard that this place was great for enjoying movie while having a few adult beverages and food. Turns out the concept is great but if the employees spend all there time goofing off then you are not going to get any service. Our visit started off well enough. It was around noon and there were not too many cars in the parking lot. We got our tickets and heading into the theater. After sitting for a few minutes we were greeted by an attendant that explained how things worked. We ordered some drinks. We got out drinks pretty quick and started to enjoy the movie. About 20 minutes in we decided to order some more food and drinks. Our little board that we put on our order on sat in its holder for 30 minutes before the attendant finally came back into the theater to check on things. There were only 5 couples in the theater and all had there boards up.If we had known the service was going to be this slow we would have just stayed at home. Good concept, poor execution.
What's not too like about a full bar and restaurant inside a movie theater? They have reasonable prices on first run films, and the wait staff will bring you whatever you choose from the menu. They have a better-than-average selection of local craft brews and the food is quite tasty.
This is a great place to relax and enjoy a movie and a drink without young and obnoxious kids. Service is good and quick. Food could be a little better but it is good for this place.
Too many reasons to go into for why this a great place to watch a movie. The obvious two that stick out, though, are that it's 21 and over, and they serve food and beverages! What else do you want? PS - get the popcorn with real butter ... so good!
