This is a great tasting room to kick back and relax in. The wine most importantly really hits it out of the ball park. Go for the Vireo if you just want to grab a bottle with out tasting. Fresh tapas can be made on request and served to you table side. If it is a cold foggy day relax with your goodies by the fire. If you are coming during good weather you have various outdoor venues to choose from. My favorite time to be there is sunset while you are playing bocci outside overlooking their vast rows of grapes. Lots of fun outdoor seating with nooks and crannies to hide out in if you'd like. Fun with some friends for sure. Did I mention the wine is lovely!

Attended a catered event here recently. Although it is not an easy place to find, once there they have built a very nice event venue. Indoor and outdoor seating, elegant facilities for socializing, etc.Of course the main reason is to publicize their wines. At my event the wine was included, and they have a fantastic Chardonnay (not usually one of my favorites), as well as a very crisp Dry Riesling, and a white blend, mostly Pinot and Viognier. That blend was a very smooth one indeed. The reds are also good, but on this occasion I was into their whites. I liked it so much I went back next week and picked up a mixed case.We have dozens of wineries near here. This one is in my Top Three now, and I can't quite come up with 1 and 2!

We did a 25 winery tour of the area over 4 days. This was stop #1 on day #1 and what a pleasant surprise. We knew a little about their wines but were surprised when we had a wonderful tasting experience with them. Our hostess was a delight, a former school teacher, who now loves sharing wines with guests, we tried our way through about 12 wines. They have food on premises and we added a cheese spread which was wonderful and really added to the tasting experience. While we promised ourselves not to join any more wine clubs on this trip, Goose Ridge was too tempting and we signed up too. They have some very reasonable and nice reds. They also have some great wine labels which are works on art on their club member wines. Be sure to stop at Goose Ridge if you are in the area.

We stopped for wine tasting and tasted some spectacular wines... but what sets this vineyard apart is its setting. The views are wonderful, the tasting center, patio and accompanying facilities (bocce!) are fun and add to the experience. Parking is almost INSIDE the grape rows. We really enjoyed our visit.

We were visiting family in Richland and they took us to this winery (they are members). I believe it was $15 per person, but being that they were members, we didn't have to pay anything. It was a cold February day in Richland, so we were the only ones there. We really enjoyed trying their different wines and I had wanted to try the ice wine that they make there. It was good, but I like sweet wines. This one was really sweet though, so beware if that's not your thing. A very nice building and atmosphere and the staff was friendly and helpful. Ended up buying a case of wine to ship home. An enjoyable experience.

We visited on Labor Day and there appeared to be a labor shortage as a result. However, the venue was quite pleasant as was the hard working staffer who was serving as many as 20 patrons during our visit. Conversation was lively. The wines were quite nice as we tasted from both the regular and reserve menus.

We had pulled off the interstate to change drivers but could find nowhere to conveniently stop until we saw the entrance to the winery. What a happy chance. The day was hot and sunny, the hosts friendly and the wines are excellent. We bought some to keep us reminded later in our travels.

My visit at Goose Ridge Winery was not for wine tasting, although they have excellent wines, was for a group meeting which was held there. I had a little difficulty finding it at first, only because of the Richland, West Richland boundaries that seem to overlap. However, the trip is worth it to see the place. It has a large area available for something small to a large event such as a Wedding Reception. The decor is exceptionally done...very tasteful, without being presumptuous. The grounds are extensive, from the indoor Tasting Room to the outdoor patio with FirePit and well-kept grassy areas for wandering and visiting with friends. All in all, a very pleasant experience!

We took a couple of friends that are novice wine drinkers to Goose Ridge on a perfect sunny afternoon. We really enjoyed the G3, and also the Retro Red. Our pourer was very friendly and knowledgable. She made us feel at home, explained each wine with possible wine pairing with food,.We spent some leisure time at the bocce ball court. There were 4 cours in total, very well maintained. The tasting room is beautiful. Outdoor space is also ideal, with the small vineyards next to the bocce ball court, we could hardly believe we were just outside of the Tri Cities. This is a show case winery to bring out of town friends to visit. Tasting fee is waived with wine purchase.
