We were on a motorcycle trip and decided to go white water rafting. Methow River and Kayak was great. They did everything they could to help us with our timeline. Tay made sure we were back onetime to make our next destination. They started early so we could do your next 400 miles. Also the provided lunch was great unlike other river trips I have been on with other companies.Will be doing this again.Thanks for the great time.

This is a great rafting company. Locally owned and operated. Arrangements were convenient. Guides were punctual at starting point. Good equipment. Very knowledgeable and friendly river guide. Great lunch provided. And most of all, a great 4 hr. rafting experience down the Methow River. Highly recommend these guys for a great family oriented rafting adventure.

There was 9 in our party. We had the best time ever. Our guides were great, entertaining and we always felt safe. The lunch that was provided was out standing. I would highly recommend Methow River Raft and Kayak. Thanks for a memorable adventure

We had a great time - our guides were fun and we felt safe the whole time. I especially appreciated that the guides allowed my boys to kayak on their own - teaching and coaching them through the effort. They loved it! Rapids were fast and fun, especially from Black Canyon onwards. Lunch was great too. We'll do it again

We love Methow River Raft & Kayak Co... This is our 4th year going out with them. We like supporting a local company, and have always been wowed by their service and the experience they provide. We took our 9 and 11 year old sons on the Gold Creek trip both last year and this year, and boy is it fun! Full of rapids, but not too crazy. Much more action than the float trip out of Winthrop. There are plenty of fairly easy areas, but also more than a few choppy, rough areas where we all got completely soaked. We even stopped at a rocky ledge and jumped into the river - cool! Matt, our guide, was so friendly and a great guide... be sure to ask for him. He was great with our kids, and is just an overall neat guy. Lunch is included in this trip, and it is awesome... sandwiches from the Cinnamon Twisp Bakery, organic cherries, and cookies - YUM! While lunching at a gorgeous stop along the river, our boys swam in the freezing cold creek and loved it. I HIGHLY recommend this company!!!!

I would highly recommend Methow River Raft and Kayak for a great way to spend a warm sunny afternoon in the Methow Valley! The river in early July is tame, but the scenery is gorgeous from the river and the folks at Methow River Raft and Kayak make sure you have fun even if there aren't many rapids this time of year. They are experienced and confident and fun but most importantly, they are looking out for the clients to make sure they are having a perfect afternoon.

Great trip on the Methow River. The river had great rapids and a few calm spots where those that wanted could hang in the water to keep cool as the day was nice and warm, but once back in the raft there was no time to dry out as there was always nice rapids ahead that gave us all a little bath. We stopped mid trip to have a little lunch and keep cool in a quiet spot, then off and running again through more rapids, Great trip!

We booked a trip on the recommendation of a Methow Valley local with Methow River Raft and Kayak for my wife's birthday. We had an absolute blast. Bolo, our raft guide was very knowledgeable and funny, the water was fast and cold, we met a nice other couple and lunch was tasty.

Four friends went on this trip and we had the boat to ourselves, with our guide Bo. All was provided, wet suits, booties, and a tasty lunch. Bo did a really good job at finding the most energetic way through the rapids and we got soaked. Thank you Bo!

Our grandsons, ages 6 and 8 were apprehensive about the float trip. But after the first series of class 1-2 rapids they were saying this is awesome. We had 2 stops on the 8 mile trip. Water and good snacks were provided. After 5 days in Winthrop, both boys say the river trip was their favorite activity. Other activities included biking off road, riding a horse drawn wagon to a cowboy dinner, hiking, swimming, playing foosball, and ping pong.

Overheard another couple talking in the hotel breakfast room about a river kayak trip later in the day, so my wife and I decided to join them. The company, Methow River raft + Kayak provided everything: wetsuit, booties, helmet, snacks, pfd, and of course the kayaks (Tomcat inflatables). The water was pretty high, and the trip on the upper portion (tamest area) of the river had enough whitewater to splash us a little. We liked the inflatable kayaks so much we decided to buy our own. Our guide was great, and we got a bonus mile or so on the river when we missed the original takeout point. We had such a good time that we booked a trip on the Gold Creek section (intermediate) two weeks later. This one was much longer with lunch provided and some rapids up to class 3 which rocked our world. Very high quality staff: just enough "mother hen" at the critical points, and "let 'er rip" the rest of the time.Highly recommended.

My daughter and I had a great time on this rafting trip. Shia was our guide, and he was so knowledgeable about the river. It's amazing that someone can know so much about a constantly moving/changing natural resource. He really took extra care to make sure my daughter (who's smaller and wasn't paddling for this trip) was comfortable and safe. The lunch provided was delicious and there was a variety to choose from. This was definitely a memorable and extremely fun day!

What a great day we had on the river. We were so well cared for and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and such a nce guy! The rapids were a lot of fun and just the right amount of excitement.! Really a great day and good value.

My wife and I had a memorable experience - Shiah was our guide and it was just us. We were in inflatable solo kayaks which was a really fun way to go. We didn't have to worry about being in a larger raft with a bunch of other people only going where the raft went. We had total freedom of movement. Shiah is very experienced and gave a good amount of guidance especially on hazards and upcoming whitewater, but he was not overbearing (very low key dude!) and let us find our own line down each rapid. He packs a homemade lunch for mid way through the trip. I would take a trip with him again!

We did a 4 hour river rafting trip with our daughters and extended family. The owner worked to accomodate our party somewhat last minute on a busy Saturday. What a great experience. The guides were extremely capable, personable and a lot of fun. Extra care was given to making sure the kids had a great time, and boy did they! The picnic lunch surpassed all expectations. We all loved the fact this was a smaller operation that gave extra attention to all the details that make an outing like this memorable, instead of just being one party among the masses that day. This is my first online review ever, and they are worth the effort!
