We got there too late in the season to visit the Ranch but the tasting room experience was very enjoyable. Taylor was a great hostess. The wines were amazing and all from the small 110 acre ranch that's been in the family for generations. We loved the photos and the rich history. Check this place out. You'll walk out with a bottle of wine if you enjoy great reds.
Our red wine drinking friends recommended a stop over during our day trip to Walla Walla. The downtown location tasting room is not very big or opulent, however, the outstanding wines make up for the ambiance. They do not make any whites. It is rare that wines are amazing across the board, but this winery certainly made that mark for us. Obviously wine tasting is such a personal thing, everyone has his/her own preferences. We really enjoyed the family history of this winery. The wine names are for family members. You can see the photographs on the walls. Also enjoyed the syrah truffle chocolates. Simply irrestible, had to get a box!!!Affordable good wines, it was a good day! $5 tasting fee that is applied towards purchase.
Both of our tastings at SV have been outstanding, and what makes it so is the knowledgable staff on duty. This visit, normally they were not open on a Tues., but a small group was in with a reservation. Very graciously we were accepted into the fold. Outstanding wines, a bit pricy, but it is WW!
Stopped by the downtown location , very cool pictures on the walls , very friendly staff . Tasted the wine it was very good . I would suggest the tour of the winery over the tasting room , it would be much more fun I'm sure !Mike
This was my second trip to Spring Valley Vineyards. I got to meet the owners of the vineyard. winemaker and the Vineyard staff awesome!!!!! The guy that gave us the vineyard tour was very knowledgeable not only about the wine itself but the geology of the area. The wine itself is spectacular!
very cozy tasting room in downtown. Excellent wines from their estate, all reds. Prices all around $50, which for this quality is a pretty decent price. Very friendly people behind the counter and very knowledgeable. We go here every year.
Wines from this winery are why we decided to go to Walla Walla! We decided to do the tour of their ranch as well as getting a catered lunch. They gave us PLENTY of wine and the tour was fun and informative. Please stop by Spring Valley when you visit Walla Walla
