Bloedel park is situated on Lake Whatcom and is a favorite of local dog owners. it has a swimming beach and boat launch that is well used in the warmer months, as well as a large building used for art shows, meetings and other activities.

The best area in Bellingham for sunbathing and people watching. Plenty of trees for slack-lining and a well kept volleyball sandpit.

What a great spot to swim, boat, picnic,... A boat launch and dog friendly park on the north end of Lake Whatcom. Bring a picnic or launch your boat on this huge lake for some summer fun.

The park has a fun playground as well as a "shallow-end" swimming area for younger kids. Very friendly atmosphere and during the summer months there is ALWAYS something fun going on in the pavilion!

This is a nice park with shade and swimming for the kids. There are swings, slides and room to kick a ball around. Lots of kids jump off the small bridge into the water. It is smack on the waters of Lake Whatcom. There is even swimming for your pooch until 10am in the summer before the kids arrive! Lots of teens on hot days but also lots of families. Parking could be challenging but usually works out fine.
