ocean point golf links

A great course with fantastic views all around. you can see wildlife while playing, you play along the ocean and the inlet. the course is very well maintained. i think my favorite part was seeing all the gators in the ponds and lagoon.

To golf with the ocean in view is breathtaking. The excitement comes in seeing alligators so closely, often, and to have the island deer totally unafraid of golfers teeing off!

A few holes have ocean views and many have wildlife everywhere. The pro shop has just what you need as far as refreshments. Play late in the day and get a discount.

My father lives on the island and we always look forward to visiting. The courses are beautiful as are the views of the ocean.

This is a terrific resort course set along the Atlantic Ocean. Ocean-front finishes on the front and back nine are worth the $110 green fee. It's a little short for a par 72, but the tight fairways and tiny greens make it extremely challenging. This is the better of the two courses on the island. We rented a house there for a week and played both courses with no problems.

This place is a mini Myrtle Beach. You have to be a member of the Club in order todine at their 2-3 restaurants, play golf, or swim in their pools, eat ice cream, etc. Once you're a member, the Resort charges in the Summer a $50 per person Amenity Card charge. Ridiciculous! This is NOT the place to purchase a home or 2nd home. If you own a home with multiple people & plan to get a 'house' membership, there is no such thing. Either everyone in the house can join to the tune of $20,000 each plus $400 a month dues each or one person joins & all the other in-house owners must pay for the amenity cards (one per person) but receives no island discounts for being a member, etc. Example: we bought a $50 amenity card. Went to the golf Course. Green fees were an additional $100. This is insane & out of the money. May I suggest Wild Dunes. They value their members & bend over backwards to accommodate. This day & time everyone is looking for income but a fair one. Again,PLEASE do your research with current home owners BEFORE you get too interested in Fripp Island. The Management chooses not to work with the homeowners,(Christy & Mitchel) they choose to have a cash cow for their own personal gains!Please RESEARCH. Prove me WRONG!
