I really enjoy Mcleod Farms, they have great local produce and grow their own seasonal items, peaches being their main seller. They also have festivals different times of the year. They do have limited parking during peak months but still a great place to visit.

Been there twice .Went for the Pumpkin patch and had a great time picking all kinds of different pumpkins with my 10 year old son.they also have a corn maze.Great museum with an excellent assortment of classic cars along with other antiques-all free.Also good shop with baked goods.Went back for the fall festival and had a good time.Can not wait for peach season.

While driving back from Bishopville we stopped here. It is much more then an average farm stand. In addition to produce there is a large variety of goods. One of the most impressive sights is a full wall of jarred products, mostly peach. There is also a good supply of souvenirs. There is a market and restaurant as well, though we were not overly impressed with it. The peach burrito was a nice treat. Once was enough!

Although it's too late for peaches, the apples, pumpkins and other numerous delicacies await. It is a day trip from Columbia . . . Well worth it!!!

My fiance and i always stop here on our way to and from myrtle beach. A snack on the way down and we load up on peaches, strawberries, etc on the way back home. We absolutely love this place! I just had some of the best strawberry cobbler i have ever had! If you ever have a chance to stop, you definately should!

We stopped here on our way back from Myrtle Beach. They have a great produce selection, icecream, boiled peanuts, and an assortment of baked goods that looked delectable. I ordered the peach enchilada and loved it. My husband said his blackberry cobbler was the BEST he has ever had!! I don't like blackberries, but I even thought it was great! After he was finished eating it, he was going to see if he could buy a big tray of it and also buy one of their amazing looking breads that I was eyeing when we were in there, but when he got to the door he realized they had just closed. What a bummer! This will be a stopping point to and from Myrtle Beach from now on! Wish there were more places like this around!

McLeod Farms is a wonderful family owned establishment which consists of a fruit stand, restaurant, ice cream store, bakery, museum and occasional concert venue. We live about 45 minutes away and make at least one trip a year to McLeod to buy boxes of blemished peaches that we can freeze. These slightly bruised or nicked peaches still taste great and are sold at a greatly reduced price. However, once we have gotten there for the fruit we generally spend a good bit of time enjoying everything else.as well.The fruit and produce stand sells a great selection of local and semi local products, as mentioned peaches are our primary interest here.We also usually enjoy a cone of ice cream or one of the sweet baked goods while we are there as well. In addition to sweets you can get a burger or even more substantial lunch or dinner at McLeod's. Food is priced just a bit more than I think it should be, but everything is home made and is usually really tasty.Over so often local bands will perform evening concerts at MeLeod's. We have enjoyed seeing several of our friends who play in cover bands perform in outdoor concerts.The most random and in many ways most interesting part of McLeods is their free museum. The museum has limited hours but when it's open it's well worth going through. The displays contain a wide variety of exhibits ranging from old farm machinery, to classic cars, to a display of old barber shop tools. I love wandering around the exhibits finding things that remind me of my childhood or my grand parents. If you are traveling US 1 or even I-20 and want to stop for a bite and maybe more McLeods is a fantastic slice of rural South Carolina.

We have always loved stopping in at McLeod's, for the great produce, boiled peanuts and yummy breads... but we've never gone over to the "tractor museum" next door to the store, until recently. My dad bought a new tractor, and we went to take pictures of one like it for him. The huge array of old tractors and farm equipment is worth having a look at, for sure, but once you've seen all that.... make SURE you step INSIDE the building! You won't believe all the incredible old cars, all in incredible condition. Once you are able to take your eyes off of all the great cars and trucks.... take your time to look around and see all the antiques they have collected over the years... you are guaranteed to find something you love. We plan to go back with our grandsons soon, just to show them the old "horse and buggy" and the old bus, and of course, for burgers at Big's :)

We stop here each time on the way to and from the beach. It's a bit costly, but the apple crisp with ice cream is to die for. The restrooms are always clean as well.

We stoped hear on the way back from Myrtle Beach and I am glad we did. The food and snacks are good and fresh made right there. There is a good selection of fruit and some produce. There are also little gifts. We bought our pumpkins here and the prices were good. A must check out is the free antique cars and tractors fun and great photo opps.

A stop any collector would love ... The cars and trucks from the 30's to the 60's were restored beautifully! There was old farming equipment, implements, and things you don't see any more, nicely arranged. We took lots of pictures. The sign on the road said closed, but it is open 10 to 5 every day but holidays. Don't miss!

We were traveling through and stopped here both directions because the cobbler is delicious and a good value at under $6 for enough to feed two people. There is also a little market attached and the fresh strawberries looked and smelled amazing. Definitely worth a stop on your road trip to stretch and get a treat! We bought the strawberry bread, which was fine, but I probably wouldn't buy it again.

We have just moved to the area and decided to stop in to what we thought was a real farmer's market. What we found was a small selection of overpriced produce and things like jelly. Overall, we were not impressed at all.

That's right. Best Bread in the World. They always have fresh baked bread for sale. Peach, Strawberry, Apple, Sweet Potato!!! Get a loaf and make french toast! It will change your world. We cut big slices and french toast it up. They also have plenty of fresh produce and close to the best ice cream(during season). They also have a lot of events for families. Free Museum. All around good time!
