One of only two exact copies ever made. Finally on prominent display. Well worth the visit. Not much to do at the site.

Viewing the David replica saves you a trip to Italy. The park is beautiful and a must see for any visitor to the area.

I am sure statues would be of interest to many, however, this replica is so much like Michelangelo's statue in Florence that it is fascinating to see it right downtown Sioux Falls.

It was so cool to see this replica in Sioux Falls! There is not much in the area besides the statue, but it is right along the riverfront. Good for a quick photo op.

Well, what can I say. This is a creation from the greatest artist who ever lived! Davidt can be seen, well, in the nude at Fawick Park downtown Sioux Falls. In 1971, inventor Thomas Fawick donated a bronze replica statue of Michaelangelo's statue to the city of Sioux Falls and Augustana college.

Take a walk down along the riverfront in Sioux Falls. It's only a few blocks from the down town where you can shop and see the dozens of sculptures along Phillips and Main.

It's amazing that this is replicated from the original David, but other than the draw of the sculpture itself there isn't a lot to see here.
