It's a great place to sit outside and listen to bands. Inside there is beer and wine and snacks available. Cute house that has been converted for this purpose. Awesome tshirts as well.

My husband and I visited on Saturday 8/16/14 to watch "Jaws"...we cautiously walked in, not really knowing what to expect. What a pleasant surprise! Very welcoming, we had a great time and will be back soon!

Didn't feel like I was part of the 'group'. My buddy and I assumed it was an open venue but it did not feel comfortable at all. No hospitality for outsiders.

Visiting with my girlfriend in NC and we were headed to another coffee shop mid morning when we spotted this one. I am so glad we did. Renee was the lady that served us and turned us on to a pour over coffee. This coffee was amazing and so was Renee. Very friendly and warm place. Kinda feels retro, but again you feel like you are walking into Grandma's house. They carry, homemade bake good, sandwiches, salads and wraps. Oh and if you are not a coffee drinker, which I can't imagine, they have tea, cider,hot cocoa, Craft Beer and Specialty wine. If you are in this area, you must stop in. First off, I'm not from here, I'm from VA and a buddy stood me up one night and I went by myself to the Turn Table, unprepared and uncomfortable.By saying a place to call home, imagine a sweet "item" that your "someone" used to prepare and as the anticipation rises for said "item", it matches the reality. The reality is, you're getting what you want, you are there to have it and nothing is gonna change. That is what it is like to sit in the room(s) at Turn Table. Everyone is at peace and comfortable and the owners are charitable in their love for their work. Above all else, they have sought out AMAZING coffee!!!! I won't even elaborate except to say it's freakin free on Fridays from 11:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M. They have also chosen delectable items from every aspect of food and culture so much so, you can't get overwhelmed by anything. You won't get uncomfortable there. Period. To me, that's moms house. The house of truths as well as never any judgments.They open their doors as if you are family. Jon and Renee clearly are on a mission to bring music and art to this community so that it can give back and they know in order to do that, you have to take all reservations and pre-judgements and kick their buns to the curb. Jon and Renee do that gracefully.Thanks Jon and Renee for giving me another "moms" house. I just have a deep appreciation for things when they slap me in the face :)I also have worked in industries where 97% of the "angry" people gave bad reviews even though 65% of the customers were happy, generally speaking!
