Paddle Creek NC provides an excellent and easy way to canoe or kayak down the Neuse River. They drop you off 1 1/2 miles from your car and you float downstream on a very easy paddle. Really good for beginners and parents with kids. I can't wait to do it again.

This was so fun.. Easy relaxing -great way to see nature. The kayaks were comfortable and easy to use. I want one.. We will do the long trip next season.

Always wanted to do this and final did this. Very relaxing and we had great weather. Saw lots of turtles sunning themselves. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The distance for first timers was perfect. Freedom to go on our own pace. Would highly recommend anyone in this area to do it at least once in their lifetime.

Paddle Creek did a good job in letting us all know what to expect and were very nice. We didn't feel rushed and were able to enjoy a relaxing ride down the river. The kayaks were very comfortable too.

Paddle Creek did a great job - prompt and professional. I had family visiting from NJ, and we all had a wonderful morning kayaking. 6 kids ages 6-14 enjoyed it!

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our 1 1/2 hour kayak trip down the Neuse. The Paddle Creek staff were very nice and responsive. The Neuse were pretty low so we bottomed out a couple times but I actually liked it being low b/c you could see way more fish and turtles. We also saw a ton of birds and hawks. I definitely recommend Paddle Creek for anyone in the RDU area that enjoys kayaking but doesn't have a kayak.

I did not know about this company or activity until seeing the Living Social deal. Thankfully I did! Three of us went together and it was absolutely a fantastic experience. There was just the right amount of easy sections where no effort is needed and you just are carried by the current, mixed with sections that you really had to pay attention and not beach yourself or hit objects in the water. No kayaking experience is necessary, as you can easily get the hang of it with a little common sense and trial/error. Both single and double kayaks are available, so anyone wanting a bit more assistance can double up with someone. The route truly takes 1.5hrs so you definitely get your money's worth. We cannot wait to return in the Fall!

Nice to have pleasant young people put us in the river and take us out. The two children in our group (ages 12 and 10) enjoyed the 1.5 hour paddle and did not get tired. Very easy "float" down the river for our group of 9. Nothing strenuous at all.

Family of 5 - with 17, 15 and 11 went on Kayak trip with Paddle Creek. The river is pretty easy to navigate for first timers, 3 different rope swings along the trip added to the fun (the last one by the end being the best!). Quiet, pleasant trip, hardly anyone around.

My friend and I purchased Living Social vouchers to take our husbands on a kayaking adventure. It was for the 3 mile (1.5hr) trip down the Neuse river. We had never done one of these trips before, so we were thankful for the well organized process of checking in and being shuttled to the starting point of the trip. The staff was excellent and answered questions that we had and made us feel at ease for the trip. It was a great time for our group of 4 and will definitely go back to do the 3hr trip!!

This was a great way to spend a couple hours; just relaxing in nature. It required very little skill or strength so it is great for beginners too. The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely read their directions online before you go, it can be difficult to locate!

Great experience from beginning to end! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A birthday gift for my wife...she was hesitant at first but enjoyed it so much that we are doing it again next summer and make it a family affair. River was low but beautiful weather....just floated along in a very relaxed manner.

We had a last minute idea to go kayaking this weekend. It was only the second time I have personally done it! Paddle Creek short trip was the perfect choice! Great staff and an easy little get away from our busy schedule! We will definitely be back!
