riverside mill

Take a short detour from I95 on your way north or south. Visit Riverside Mill at Weldon, NC! You will be happy you did. It's a wonderful historic mill, renovated using much of the original materials to create a unique antique, collectable and art venue. Do your Christmas shopping with them this year. You'll feel as if you have stepped back in time. Plan to take your time so you can patiently wander through both floors. One woman's junk is another woman's treasure "fits to a T!" Enjoy!!!

Stopped by because the wife is incapable of passing an antiques shop. Well laid out, spacious, great parking (big rig RV), plenty of vendors, also good selection of local jams & such, AND, clean bathrooms. It's rare to find any bathrooms in an antique shop. We will come back.

This place is a mile or so from I95. They have a lot of different items. If you have time it is worth the trip. It is an average antique mall. Some days they have what you want, and other days they don't.

The antique portion was the best part of the mill. The crafts were also pretty good. The QVC outlet, though nicely displayed, was filled with a lot of items that would have been considered rejects. And downstairs? What a junk heap. Items for sale that obviously been used - and not cleaned - were up for sale. And the prices were no bargain. So go for the antiques and the crafts and skip the rest.

I live pretty close to the Riverside Mill. I had never heard about it until i saw a sign up. My husband and I stopped by to check it out. There is a section where you can buy clothes. There are antiques for sell and crafts. There are also pieces of art and hand crafted gifts. It was ok to check out once. Lots of neat things to see.

If you're in town, take the time to check it out. If you're not in town, don't make a special trip just for this shop. There's are some nice things to shop through and its in a quaint little country location, but my ladies were unimpressed, and there's nothing else in Weldon, NC to see or do except the boat landing and park if you're picnicking or fishing.

Riverside Mill had a nice choice of good, antiques, china, crafts, art.
