This park has so much to offer! We come here often for boating, picnicking, recreation. It is a nice clean park with plenty of shelters and picnic tables. There are several ramps to launch boats, a pool and a sandy beach. There are playgrounds, basketball goals, horseshoes and grassy areas for football, soccer or just relaxing. The camping areas are also nice although like most parks tend to fill up on major holiday weekends. Also check ahead of time because the lake does flood in the spring and early summer sometimes making the beach area inaccessible. Close to the park are the spillway area below the dam with another playground and picnic areas and Cataract Falls.

We stayed at the Lieber State Park on our last night of our 3-week trip in our RV. We had a fabulous site in the middle of the woods and only 2 other campers in the campground. We were tempted to stay longer, but it was time to go home. We would definitely go back on future trips.We walked one of the trails that has an ancient cemetery along the way. We also walked to the lake where there were so many picnic sites we lost count. The lake/beach was closed do to high water but from what we could see the lake was HUGE. We had fun imagining what the place looks like in the summer with everyone enjoying this well maintained park.There is no water or cable or internet at the camp site but you do get electric and our little antennae picked up lots of TV stations so no problem there.
