This has been on my bucket list for years. I enjoyed seeing the RV's from years past. We have been RVing for 50 years so there were some rv's there from when we first started. They had just brought in a brand new travel trailer. As I looked at it I noticed something wrong with the awning. I called my wife over and asked her to look at it and she said it looks upside down. The water won't run off so I went and got one of the hosts and he looked at it and started to laugh. So some one at the build factory must have been in a hurry to get it out the door....

This is a very well thought out display. It is really interesting to see this industry and how it has advanced. Brought back lots of great memories of camping trips as a kid!

If you're an RV enthusiast, you should really stop at this place. If you're not an RV enthusiast, you should really stop at this place. The thing that makes the RV/MH Hall of Fame so cool is that you can walk through a lot of the RVs, and if you can't walk through them, you can still stick your head in and look around. It's not a "look from a distance, but don't touch" kind of museum. They have fresh-off-the-showroom-floor RVs and campers, and some seriously old ones, going back to the 1910s! It's just a really neat place to see how we've lived on the road for the past century, and just how far living on the road has come since its humble beginnings.

We was here for two hours looking at all sizes from very small to large. We was greeted by Ralph, who was very helpful. It was a good time.

This place is very unique and some of the old vintage trailers they have are awesome. We went later in the afternoon so I didn't get to go upstairs to the library because they were getting ready to close, but the person working said he'd stay open for me if I wanted him to - which was nice, but I declined. It was a great time and worth it to see all of the different RV's and campers from long ago and also today - very much history in there. I'd visit for sure if I were you. It's right off the toll road - Elkhart East exit so it's easy on/off for a stop. Plan on about 2 1/2 hours to enjoy this attraction. They have a small gift area, but nothing large at all.

We had though about stopping here for many years and finally did. The RV's of yesterday are just amazing. So many that you can go in and be amazed by how tiny everything was. If you are thinking of stopping, just do it. It was very cool.

This is one of those places that should be on your bucket list. This museum has it all,and the value of admission,(only $8.00) is really a value. I would have paid alot more. The museum itself has so many old rvs, that just takes you down memory lane. Mae West's RV was well worth the visit just by itself. I almost pictured her there with her many friends. I recommend this Museum to anyone, you do not need to be a Rv'er to enjoy this place. There is a huge place outside to accomodate up tp 200 RVs. Thanks for the memories.

This museum has many RVs from the early days of camping. One of the earliest one dates back to the late 1800s. You can go inside some of the RVs and see how they were decorating and equipped in the early days of camping. They also have the latest examples of the modern RV. If you like RVs, this should be on your list to visit.

If you ever enjoyed camping out when you were young or have retired in a modern motorhomem or travel trailer, this museum will rekindle memories about the good old days of "roughing it" it in an RV. The exhibits outlines the history of camping in a recreational vehicle and features many of the old classic trailers and RVs from days past. Exhibits are well presented and informative. The museum is in Elkhart, Indiana, where about 90% of the RVs in the US are made. It is worth the price of admission.

Many older RV's on display showing the progression over the decades. Allow about 2 hours to see the exhibits

My 3 year old son loved climbing in and out of the new and old RVs. I thought the adult admission was a little high but glad I went once

We were at the Elkhart Campground this week and had the opportunity to visit the museum. Very fun and entertaining! It was laid out nicely and easy to get around in. It started witht the oldest and went to the newer moldels. It was fascinating to see how ingenious people were in the early 1900's . I think even if you didn't have an interest in camping you would enjoy this exhibit.

They have a great selection of TV's and motorhomes. I guess we were expecting more? Nice stop for an hour or so. $10.00 a person to get in.

An amazing collection of RV's of all types from 1913 through the 80's. Several one of a kind prototype campers as well. The facility is beautiful, modern and well designed. Walking through the collection was literally like walking through time. Some campers are restored, but many are just as they were when they were last used which is fabulous. Although a few were roped off, you could go in and walk around most of the campers in the collection. They still even smelled like you'd expect a camper that was well loved to smell. We spent a couple hours and could have easily spent more time. The cost is only $10 and you can spend as much or little time as you want as the tour is self guided. There is also an area that has a few brand new units and accessories if you're interested in checking those out.If you're even remotely interested in the evolution of campers / RV this is the place to visit!

This is a must see for people who enjoy seeing the past in a present setting, . The display building is enormous and lovely, the displays of new and old rvs is well done. Lots of unique campers as well as some well known names attached, movie makers etc. beautiful grounds and a place to park your large rig and places to rest awhile. Must visit , many many kinds on display!!!!! smells good too!!! As some old museums have odors this does not.
