pioneer park

Back in the day this was where I trail ran... now all trails are paved, so, maybe that's a good thing? Pool has been there for decades and they're constantly updating it and putting new stuff in. Lot's of soccer fields and a couple of small creeks to play in. Good place for bike riding or just walking the dog or for a run. Plenty of playgrounds for the kids, and shelters to rent. Outdoor bball and fall time hay rides through reservation. I like it.

This is a very large city park with much to do. Went with young grandson's for a few hours and I was really surprised a city park could have so much to do. The have at least 4 very nice up to date playground with great equipment and safety in mind. The aquatic center is really nice for the price and a lot of fun (with water slides). The park also has a very unusual Zip Line a must try for all that has the heart!! Nice wood walking & biking trails. It was also a very well kept park. We will visit again.
