carmike theater

Have visited there often in last 4-6 weeks seeing the Oscar nominated films. Good daytime specials, nice facility, great popcorn.

We had not been here in years but loved our visit to the movies today!! We found out that if you go to a movie between 4pm - 5:30 pm the cost is only 5.75 per ticket. What a great deal for a family of 4! It was very clean & the employees were very nice!! We loved the very nice chairs.. The best theater around.. We will be back!!

We just went to Carmike and saw a movie [which was a great flick, by the way]. It used to be a great theater (clean, quick service, more reasonable priced), but it has quickly become the 3rd choice of theaters that we go to even though it is the closest. Why? EXPENSIVE. It should not cost $100 for a family of 5 to go out for 2 hours. Why? DIRTY. The floor in the theater has become sticky and the restrooms aren't clean. Why? POOR SERVICE & WAIT. We always have to wait to purchase tickets now and the cashier is busy 'selling' rewards memberships versus tickets and keeping the line moving. You have to wait in the concession line as they are under staffed. AND then to top it off we had to wait again in the pop line, because you have to serve yourself. I have to serve myself a $5 pop?!?!

I took our grandnieces here for a treat. The theater is situated in a large newer modern outdoor shopping venue. They did have a fast food menu as well as the typical theater fare. The theater is new and modern.

My wife and I went here to see the movie The Equalizer. Very nice experience, clean, comfortable seat. Good sound and clear picture.

Start with the basics. Its very clean and is staffed by friendly people. Now what sets it apart:All digital movies, big high back seats with armrests that raise, State of the art coke machine with free refills on all size drinks, stimulus Tuesdays where you can get a drink and popcorn for $2 apiece and bargain movie times EVERYDAY from 4 to 5:30 pm. If I'm going to a 1st run theater then its Carmike every time.

Relax, sit back, and enjoy the movie. That sums up Carmike in Plainfield. It's clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. The seats sit a little higher than the seats at some of the older theaters, like Shiloh in Avon. This makes for a comfortable experience for us 50 and older customers. The side rest will lift up if you need extra room. There are spaces for wheelchair customers. Carmike bought out Rave in approximately 2012 and Rave offered senior citizen discounts starting at age 55. Carmike doesn't offer discounts until age 65. Hubby and I like going to the matinees as it is typically not crowded at all and the price is slightly discounted. Refreshments are expensive so eat before you go if you don't want the added expense of refreshments. We love going to Carmike.

Though i do think all movie theaters are too expensive, i will always choose Carmike. We recently got a rewards card and got half-price tickets and a steal for candy. Not to mention they have one of those cool coke machines. They are always so clean and comfortable!

Comfy, cozy, and you can move up the arm rests if it's not crowded to make a bed. Good selection of movies. About $10 dollars per person, so average for Hendricks county.

Always enjoy going to the Metropolis Carmike, clean and friendly. Comfortable seating. Have bargain Tuesdays and a senior discount.

I really like the stadium seating and all the room in front of the seats. As usual, the snacks are a little pricey, but they were understanding when I asked for water cups so I could divide the large drink between the kids. It was comfortable and we enjoyed it.

The seating is very comfortable; cushioned arm rests with cup holders. Great sound, clarity is unbelievable! State of the art :) They offer super bargain matinee from 4-5:30 and Tues is drink specials of only $2- each.

Grandchildren wanted to see Frozen on a very cold day but the theater was comfortable and the snacks were great.

Great Theatre...enjoyed the theatre and the close proximity to the hotel suites I Would recommend the theatre to friends.
