A little pricy but a great course to play if you are in the area. They have a great driving range and practice putting green. Best to book tee times. We got beat out by the Northern Ind. Mayors outing.
Play here can set you back $50-70 if not a senior player. But the course is remarkable and challenging but not too difficult to manage, depending on which set of tees you start from. At the end of the day you feel like you got your monies worth in both beauty of the course and the club house experience. GPS is helpful which also indicates where other club carts are in front of you which is nice for those blind spots to avoid hitting other golfers.
Have played here a couple times and came away very impressed on both occasions. The course is challenging but not overly difficult for an average golfer. It is also very well kept and has a well equipted clubhouse to service food and beverage needs. If you get the chance, go play it!
Tucked in the northeast corner of rural Indiana sits one of the finest golf clubs in the Midwest.Although open to the public Glendarin feels like an exclusive country club and when you show up you're a member for the day.The staff is inviting and knowledgeable. The food and beverage quality and service is excellent ---- and we haven't even gotten to the golf course yet.Excellent practice facilities. GPS guidance on all carts. Greens are faster than a shuffleboard table. Fairways are so tight and flush that you could not improve your lie even if you tried.Playing here will give you a realistic feel of where the pro's play.fairly priced this is really quite a treat. I would drive an hour out of my way to play.
Good for large parties. We like the views and the food and the service.Good Golf Course
My husband and I golfed the course today and It was Great. Beautiful course!
Truly 1 of the best courses in the USA..Lightning fast greens that roll true. Don't get above the hole on these greens..surely a 3 putt if yo do. The "blues" will give you all you can handle. The slope says it all..130 from the blues..136 from the "golds". Plenty of wildlife to see as you wind thru wooded areas. Scenic, cross cut fairways. The staff (both Matt's) are exceptional at their job. If you are in the area, stop and play this course..You'll be glad you did!!
I played Glendarin Hills late last fall with a group of old college buddies. It was a bit chilly, but the sun was out the whole day. I really can't say enough about the course. It has varied terrian that, while never actually being 'wooded', brings old growth trees into play on a lot of holes. Other parts of the course are in open, rolling fields with some GORGEOUS water hazards in play. On the day I played, the greens were rolling extremely fast, which made the semi-severe green undulations seem like Augusta. The clubhouse is a beautiful structure that hangs over the course like a castle, and the professional staff were friendly without being cheesy. I would, and plan to, go back again next year. I want to see what the course is like in 80-degree weather with leaves on the trees!
I have played numerous golf courses throughout the United States, public, private, resorts....and this is truly one of the best. The facilities are all top notch, from the well appointed pro shop to the gourmet food served at Carruso's , the on site restaurant. The course is challenging, but not to the point of frustration, and excellently maintained. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, making a totally enjoyable golfing experience.
A challenging but fun layout that's a real treat to play. Plenty of variety on this well-maintained course and the staff is very accommodating. Nice restaurant too.
