This place is great for kids to run around and burn off steam, especially when it's cold or raining, but it's $8 per kid, which is expensive to me especially if you're only going to be there an hour or less. The staff I felt were pretty rude, but considering they all looked under 21, it's to be expected in this part of town.If you have a group of kids going but have not booked a party with them (which costs a small fortune in my book for what you get), they will not allow you to bring a gift into the place, and are pretty nasty about it if you try.If you don't do anything to get the staff on your case and can steer clear of them, then again, it's a great place for kids to burn off steam.Recommended for kids 7 and younger. This one is really designed for younger kids.

We visited when my daughter was 11 months with another couple who's son just turned one. The kids climbed, played on the slides and crawled until exhaustion. Both the kids loved it! Even though my daughter was only 11 months at the time she loved to climb and had a great time. We liked it so much we went back 2 weeks after for her first birthday. All her little friend really enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend checking this place out. I have also heard for the bigger kids the regular monkey bizness is a ton of fun too!

I have been here 6-8 times from 2010 to 2014. It's always enjoyable for the kids. They have a walled off play area for babies & toddlers, away from the bigger kids. The large area for kids 2-8 yo (9-11 yo will have fun, but not as much) has mostly inflatables and obstacle/climbing apparatus along with some ball throwing, ride-on cars (self-propelled), slides, and in 2014, they added a zip line (probably need to be 5 or older for that). For imaginative play, they also have a couple of playhouses, a dress-up corner with lots of costumes, and books. Additionally, there is a separate art room with paper and paints for anyone to use. Parents are always in the same areas as the kids & it can occasionally get a little crowded. But you can have 40 people there and there is enough room. Cost is about $8-9 per kid (I think it's 8 & they charge a tax). No charge for adult (some kids' places charge adults). They sometimes host group birthday parties at which time it is closed to open play. Don't forget socks! Kids must wear socks on the equipment. Negatives: they are not stringent on enforcing the rules such as no big kids in the toddler area and they will let all customers come in for open play which leads to it being too crowded (over 50 people). The play area is pretty much self-enforced by the parents (unruly, unsafe kids, etc). Most crowded time to be there is 10:30-Noon - before lunch & naptime & when schools are not in session for the day. Food is not that good - they have mostly snacks & drinks.

I have lived in Kansas City my ENTIRE life, and I my three year old has as well, and I had no idea about this place. It is PERFECT. It keeps my toddler perfectly contained and entertained. It includes a coffee shop area with free wi-fi for the parents. Mondays and Wednesdays has power play from 1-3 for $5. What a great place to burn up some energy when it's really cold or hot outside!

We love going to little monkey Bizness. My girls love going here and have even had bday parties there! It's a great deal for unlimited play time!
