Quiet, unrushed, crowd-free, fine automobile trail thru deep Central Forest Marsh. You can take a senior person with bad knees and never have to get out of the car. Take plenty to drink and some water to put on yourself as the heat can be close to exhaustion.

Visiting with school groups has provided my main focus, but this area offers many opportunities to study the works of God's creation.

i live 2 miles from sandhill, and have been frequently. there is a tower about half way through that you have to see.it is absolutely beautiful. i would say the best time to see it is in the fall. you have to go in the evening if you want to see all of the deer.it is a relaxing drive.
