I've been on several kayak trips with WI River Outings and have always had a great time, and this tubing trip was no different. They give excellent service and are very accommodating. I highly recommend them!

Just returned from a 3 day guided tour on the WI River. Our guide was Josh and he was wonderful. This is my second time with WI River Outtings and both times I was fully satisfied. The cost is $50.00 per day per person and it is well worth it. This cost covers boat, life jacket, dry bag, guide, food, fire wood and experience of the river. Meals are simple but filling.Everyone had a wonderful time in the water. Last year the water was super low and we had to deal with tons of sand bars. This year few sand bars and faster trip which allowed more water time. We all played in the currents and had a blast. The water is just what you need to cool off on hot days. FYI always bring sun screen, bug spray and a hat.The river trip is beautiful and the wild life is great. We saw several eagels and other birds, jumping fish and turtles. We also were visited over night by racoons and coyotes. Lucky they were there while we were sleeping and only left tracks for us to ooh and aah over.Would definately use WI River Outtings again. Next time we might just rent the gear and go on own. Dealing with Scott, Robin and Julie makes your trip easy to plan and stress free. Thanks for a great 3 day again.

A group of 20+ of us went on this canoe trip In June 2012 and we had a great time. Checking in the staff were very helpful and patient with our large group. We were given a map and sent on our way. We were supposed to canoe for 6 hours the first day, however the winds were NOT in our favor and we ended up canoeing for 8+hours and didn't get as far as we were supposed to, so the following morning we decided not to canoe anymore and just get picked up at a different location. They were very accommodating and understanding, didn't give us a hard time. Just helped us get back! I look forward to going again next summer!

Our family took a canoe and camping trip down the Wisconsin River and had a great time. We rented one of the canoes from Wisconsin River Outings and they were so nice. They were friendly and accommodating and were extremely easy to deal with. Great price too. Would definitely recommend.

We've used WRO for four or five trips over the last three years for three-day weekend canoe trips (with a group of friends half the time, just with my husband the other half). The spots they have on the Wisconsin River are beautiful. It's awesome being able to go canoeing for a weekend and not see a single person the entire time. I have a feeling that most the staff spends most of their time getting stoned, but they've always been friendly to us and get the job done. The Boscobel trips that they have now are great, since you can just canoe to your car and leave once you get there (the Sauk City trips, while fun, can be sort of sad when you have to wait for the bus after spending three days in the sun).

My family went on a Wi River Outing on Saturday Sept 1. They did a great job explaining our route down the river, what to look out for and where to stop along the way. We brought our dog along and he loved getting out on the sand bars and running around. The canoe's easily fit two people per and one dog in the middle. The weather was great too, which helps. We can't wait to take the trip again. Next time will probably do an overnight.

This is our third year with WI river outings, and it was again- a great trip. Service is great, and the trip is just so much fun. Will be back next year. We did Lone Rock to Boscobel, but next year will do Gothom to Boscobel to have a little bit of a shorter trip and more time on the islands camping. I love the WI river!

this was my 4th time paddling with WI RIVER OUTINGS and its getting better each time!! the staff is always friendly and helpful, the canoes were great and the experience of being in nature couldnt be better...our group did the 12 mi, from sauk city to arena. and it was just enough for an overnight trip. although, we were all wishing we had one more day to enjoy ourselves and our surroundings. we have never run into a 'too crowded' river and even when you think there are lots of paddlers, when you find your perfect spot to camp, you are nowhere near another group of campers. We just got back from our trip this past sunday and we all cant wait to get back up there next year already!! A special thanks to robin for going above and beyond to help answer any questions we had and to make sure our group was ready for our weekend!!

We had 9 canoes paddle from Muscoda to Boscobel. WRO made our trip totally stress free. The canoes were wonderful and the staff went above and beyond to help us get started. (There was a fire ban on the river at the time. Robin kept us informed with daily updates leading up to our trip.) This section of the river is very beautiful - loads of wildlife. I highly recommend WRO to anyone looking to canoe in this area.

WRO is the best choice for canoe and kayak rentals as well as transportation services. I have canoed with them for 2 years now and recommend them to everyone I know!!!

We've done this trip twice with WI River Outings as an overnighter, and had a great experience both times. The stretch from Boscobel to Wyalusing is beautiful and quiet - for nearly the entire trip the shoreline is forest and hills and little else. We saw many bald eagles, but hardly any other boaters. In other words, it feels like a genuine wilderness experience. WI River Outings is friendly and professional. They got us on the water quickly and were waiting for us when we arrived at Wyalusing. We liked their canoes, as well. Recommended!

My family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids ages 15 and 11) went canoeing down the WI River yesterday with WI River Outings, the Sauk City location. Christine in the office was fantastic. In retrospect, we should probably have not embarked on the paddle with high wind warning for the afternoon, which Christine told us about, as it did actualize. As a result, we had a bit of an unusual experience and they went above and beyond the call to keep us safe on the river and to have a positive experience. We'll be back, as WI River Outings knows how to make a customer for life! They have outstanding canoes, not the typical metal ones most outfitters provide, and a wonderful staff. Every person we interacted with was primarily concerned with 2 things. Keeping you safe on the river and making sure you had a great experience. Give paddling a try, canoeing or kayaking, and feel good about choosing WI River Outings. They have two locations for putting in on the WI River, Boscobel and Sauk City.
