If you're looking for delicious, unique, freshly made vodka beverages - look no further. The vodka is distilled on-site. The drink ingredients are freshly prepared by a well-dressed, highly quailfied bartender (dare I call him a mixologist, drink artist, my new best friend?). The atmosphere is casual and inviting. You could swing through in a pair of jeans or stop in sporting more formal attire. A large common area is complimented by comfortable, inviting couches. Hand-made, repurposed wood makes up the coffee table, as it does for much of the decor. A grand chandelier (made with local sticks!) descends from high upon the ceiling and is complimented with Edison light bulbs all around. The interior is a mix of cold steel and warm, recycled/repurposed wood. And the drinks.....absolutely top notch. I'm not sure I can elaborate much more. You should probably head out and see for yourself just how great of a place this is. Great Northern Distilling is easily my new favorite place in Central Wisconsin for a quality spirit.(Parent note: I would highly recommend visiting this establishment sans kids. While it's not likely they'll find much to break, food is not served and kids would probably get very bored, very fast. Besides, you'll be too lost in the delicious uniqueness of your drink to adequately supervise them.)
