oakwood fruit farm

Like many locals, I long ago worked at Oakwood Fruit Farm, picking apples during the summer and after school in the fall. This family-run business is a neat place to visit, just to buy apples, grapes or cider, or to pick your own. The orchards are set in beautiful hills and are meticulously maintained. Always someone around to explain as much as you care to know about apple varieties, fruit growing or marketing.
