Such a nice area to walk around and window shop, grab a coffee, buy some gifts for friends and family and have a great lunch at Hart Tavern or Cock and Bull.

If you are in the area Peddler's Village is a nice stop. There are a bunch of shops, boutiques, and restaurants you can easily walk to all of them. They are all outdoors so take the weather into account when going.

Peddlers village has a lot of cute small business stores... They include all sorts of eclectic things and other hard to find items. The restaurants are pretty good and it's a nice place to walk around during Christmas or during the scarecrow festival/ other festivals.

I have been going to peddlers village for the last few years with my girlfriends from school to have a girls weekend consisting of shopping and massages. This last visit was really bad. It was a few weeks ago when the weather in Northeast that morning was a sheet of ice. We actually delayed our departure time for a few hours to let Mother Nature do her work and let the temperature rise. When we got to the main hotel it was a sheet of ice on the walkway and the parking lots. It was treacherous and shocking that no one fell and hurt themselves!! When we went to front desk to describe the conditions outside the receptionists was all by herself and was doing best she could to check in/out guests and maintain the grounds outside. Since when are receptionists for grounds outside hotel?? I actually when to the bucket where they had the salt and salted the stairs leading up to entrance. All the shops were closed which we didn't find out until literally a half hour until we arrived from a 3-hour trip. The spa Skin and Tonic was still open so we made our way to the spa. Again the sidewalks were sheets of ice and nothing was done to salt them. We had to walk on the streets hooping that a car didn't skid out of control and hit into us. Not one sidewalk through this whole committee was salted for the merchants (restaurants and spa) or the clients that were still there. If they weren't going to put the safety of their patrons above everything they should have cancelled every reservation!! It was treacherous and bc of that experience I will not be coming back again. The management needs to re-evaluate their priorities and put the safety of their employees and patrons ahead of everything!!! Disgusting how much they disregarded us.

Recently my friends and I went on our annual "Girl's Trip" to Peddler's Village. We had been there before and had loved it but now we aren't planning to go back. Our most recent experience left us all annoyed and disappointed, and we are assuming the management team may have been changed since our last few visits. We went during an unfortunate bout of bad weather, and although Peddlers can't control the weather they certainly can control how they respond to it. Due to ice, the shops were closed on the day of our arrival and until noon the next day. I understand the reasoning behind that decision, however, the management/hotel should have tried to contact incoming guests to allow them to reschedule their reservations. One of the main reasons to go to Peddlers village is to visit all of the shops. We weren't notified by the hotel although the spa (privately owned) called to see if we were still coming since the rest of the stores were closed. At this point we were too close to turn back home. We were also annoyed by the lack of concern for guests safety once we were there. The clerk at the front desk was lovely and she was trying very hard but she couldn't run the front desk and simultaneously take care if the front entrance and walkways. More then once during our stay, we used their bucket of salt/sand to sprinkle the steps of the entranceway. Getting to and from our car was treacherous. It's interesting however, that at one point we braved the conditions to walk down (aka slide) the street to go to a restaurant across the street in the outlets. The sidewalks near the outlets were obviously salted/sanded and walking was easier there but they don't appear to be part of Peddler's Village. Even the next day the walkways in Peddler's were a disaster because no one was out trying to salt/sand them. I'm fact the first time we saw a grounds/ maintenance crew was after 10:30 the second day. Other issues we encountered were poor building conditions at the spa (the employees were lovely but they rent the space and as landlords- Peddler's Village- isn't maintaining the buildings as they should- do much now that the spa owners are leaving the village) and a change in the breakfast (which was part if the package we usually get). To add insult to injury, one member of my party wrote an email to the management team after our trip, to describe our disappointment with how it was handled. There was NO response- it just confirmed what we thought... Peddler's Village management isn't really concerned about making the guests happy.

The entire staff needs to be dismissed and the restaurant menu and planning needs to be overhauled! There was NO German food available for German Food Night- even although we had reservations for over a week.

This is an excellent place to meet family, especially if you have to choose a place between PA & NJ. Eat at one of the known places & walk it off strolling through the shops (most of which will give you a map to help find your way). We loved the boutiques, though there are outlets across the street as well. Small scale buildings, unique shops, and grounds offer a fantastic feeling of being in a Hamlet Somewhere Special....

loved every part of it. Stayed for one night at the Golden plough with my boyfriend. Great food at harts and Buttonwood. Loved Harts keilbasa sandwich and hot apple cider. Service was terrific. Grounds were meticulously clean. Rooms at the golden plough were classically elegant. Shops were unique. Was their slow season so not crowded. Shop owners and restaurant servers were very nice and welcoming. lights were spectacular.

We always like to stop at Peddler's Village for two different occasions: the scarecrow festival and their holiday light festival. This will probably be our last year for the scarecrow festival. The amount of entries has been dwindling noticeably over the years. Many of the entries do not have the same level of originality as several years back. It's okay, but the "wow"s quite infrequent. The holiday lights, though, is a must. Advice - go during the middle of the week. Weekends seem to be overcrowded and you'll enjoy the experience much more without constantly bumping into people on the walkways and the stores. I always enjoy their gingerbread house display. Check it out.

Hello everyone Gregory Grookett with my Tripadvisor review of the wonderful Peddlers Village. What a great place to go for a fun day in Bucks County. The village is filled with very nice shops that carry well crafted goods. Other then shops the village has many eateries. Peddlers Village is fun for the whole family or couples. I highly recommend going in the fall when they have their festival or in the Christmas season when they have all the sparkling lights up. But its also fun in the summer too! I have been going here ever since I was a young child and enjoy it more and more every time.Gregory Grookett says go enjoy this old fashioned village you won't be disappointed.

We visited Peddler's Village in December and my family and I enjoyed it very much. We really loved the "old fashioned" charm of this small village, with its quaint shops and homey cafes and restaurants. Since it was Christmastime when we went, the whole village was decked out in thousands and thousands of Christmas lights and decorations. While the atmosphere and decor is nice, the main attraction of Peddler's Village is the many different, albeit a little pricey, shops. In the different shops at Peddler's you can buy anything from clothing, to homemade soaps, to exotic spices, and more. There was even a shop that specialized in handcrafted door knobs and knockers! I definitely recommend a trip to Pettler's Village to anybody who enjoys the old fashioned charm of artisan shops and restaurants.

As we search for real estate In the area we stumbled upon this great place. The grounds had shopping and you felt like you were in a Charles Dickens Novel. Beautiful. It happened to be 54 degrees today and we were able to enjoy the bakery, the shopping and the food. Look out for our review at the Cock and Bull Restaurant and Inn. Really enjoyed this place. May go back again.

Enjoyed our family trip to Peddler's Village. We jot to stroll through the village and tour the shops and also enjoy the nice Christmas lights and views as it turned dark and the Christmas lights turned on. I found most of the shops a bit expensive and very repetitive in my opinion, and we didn't try any of the places to eat but most seemed like they would be very good. I am looking forward to visiting again, and will post a 2nd review when I return to see if the visit is any better than the 1st. I'm not a huge "shops" type of guy, so that's why it get's only 3 stars from me.
