appalachian trail museum

We really enjoyed the AT Museum. The man working there was so kind and eager to tell us stories of at AT. The general store next door was such a nice place for a burger and ice cream cone. There is a beach around the lake there to enjoy the sun, and you have a chance to hike a bit of the AT. Also fun is to meet through hikers who stopped by. Don't miss this gem!!

We had a great time here. Really like the trenches, bunker, and obstacle course. They also really like the museum. They liked the shooting game and parachute landing simulation game. Only suggestion is please put signs on the building doors indicating what is in each building!
