The venue is multilevel so you can experience fine dining or an al fresco picnic with live music and great wine.
My family and friend love to frequent this winery in the summer. They have an exceptional outdoor pavilion with live music and the management allows patrons to bring their own food, picnic baskets, snacks, and tablecloths and sit at their picnic tables provided you purchase their wine. Because their wine is delicious and reasonably priced, we think this is a great place to gather with friends on a Friday evening after work. The food is also good, but you'll usually find us bringing our own and relaxing with their wine. One minor complaint; the wine was very reasonably priced, but we have found the price increasing each year. For instance, a bottle of Niagara was about $9.00 three years ago but is now selling for about $12. We understand increases to allow for profit and improvements.... I just hope they don't become TOO pricey.
This is a gem, located off Rt. 910 in Gibsonia. Indoor and patio seating along with a large outdoor pavilion really make it a great venue for everyone. You are permitted to bring your own food and have a picnic in the pavilion with the only restriction you cannot bring in your own alcohol. Live music during the weekends in the summer. Great staff. Free wine tasting is a plus!
Love the summer venue. Can't beat a little wine tasting before dinner and then have an excellent dinner along with a bottle of their wine while dinning outside in their garden. The food is terrific. Inside the restaurant serves the same great food and service. The restaurant has been expanded but is noisy but still terrific and you can go there in the winter. Can't wait for the summer venue.
Went for the first time tonight with friends. Not sure what to expect because I am not a huge wine drinker. The Caeser salad was just ok would not order again. Everything else at our table was awesome. I ordered Chicken Marsala and it was delicious. I tried my friend's tortellini carbonara which was really good also. My husband had the spicy shrimp pasta it was definitely spicy! They also give you bread and dipping oil that was so good I could have just eaten that for dinner! Service was good. Definite new favorite!
We have been here twice for wine tasting and for both lunch and dinner in the restaurant. Both times have not disappointed. I love most of the wines La Casa Narcisi produces. The workers are all friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about all of the wines. During our first visit in October we had lunch outside on the patio. I recommend the lasagna! But really everything is delicious, especially the home made dipping oil, which is available to purchase as well. Can't wait to return!
Outdoor seating in the summer is great. Food and wine are very good also. I would recommend Narcisi to all my friends.
This is a lovely place to visit or dine. Outdoor dining, on site winery with taste sampling, and general ambiance makes this a pleasant and rewarding experience.
This summer I spent an afternoon at the winery and felt like I was on a mini-vacation. We did the mini-tour and tasting which was lots of fun. Had luncheon on their outdoor patio while live music played nearby. The food was good, the wine was wonderful. A great way to spend an afternoon. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great place to visit. Planning to go again soon.
Great outdoor ambience. Love the flatbreads and salmon salad. Servers are good but hostess needs a little direction in making people feel welcome and not like we are bothering them. They always seem a little puzzled as to where they can seat us, as there is clearly a lot of tables available.
really nice venue at a local winery, with good food, wine and entertainment. Awesome in the summer when the weather is good .
I was surprised to encounter a winery while visiting friends in the Pittsburgh area. The night we visited we had a pretty, yet breezy day. As the sun went down I'm glad we sat near some heat lamps. To sit indoors would have been a 2 hour wait, I guess the dining room was full of reservations. The food was delicious, it is a restaurant just as much as a winery so the choices are more than crackers and cheese. The food is just what I expect to pair with wine. Some of the wines were a little sweet, but the reds were okay. I don't know if I would go out of my to visit again, but I'm happy to have experienced something new while in the area.
We dined at La Casa Narcisi Winery with family to celebrate a birthday. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the wine and our meals. Our server was pleasant and attentive and gave us plenty of time to celebrate the occasion. I was particularly surprised at the quality of the white wines we tasted - a chardonnay and a gewurtztraminer. One in our party ordered lasagna and it was excellent. Three ordered pasta and it was also very good. A fifth had salmon and it was prepared as she liked it. I also had the stuffed peppers appetizer. It was very good but make sure you have a glass of water close by as it is spicy hot. The only negative is the acoustics in the dining room are poor. It has very high ceilings and nothing to absorb the sound. We could hardly hear ourselves talk during the meal.
Always love visiting the wine cellar. Food is fantastic and the wine is good. Recommend to everyone to visit. Service is always top notch!
Delightful outdoor dining experience under trailing vines while sampling some surprisingly good Pennsylvania wines on a warm summer evening. The meat courses are pricy but there is plenty of pizza on the menu and the shrimp diavala is exceptional.
