I have enjoyed walking the loop trail around this park's central lake many times over the past few years. It is a relatively easy walk - perhaps 1-1.5 miles long - starting from the picnic/playground area and going around the edge of the lake. Most recently when I visited the park there were plenty of people fishing for the bass and trout that the lake is stocked with annually. The walk was extra beautiful during this time in the fall with the hillsides speckled with reds, oranges and yellows due to the changing leaves.I highly recommend enjoying what this park has to offer - even off season - as it is somewhat secluded yet easy to access via car.
