Wonderful Bake Shop. The best Pies I have ever had in my life. I love their Pecan pie, Apple pie, Pumpkin pie and Custard pie. I mean, you could pick any Pie there and not go wrong. Quality ingredients and Best taste at a reasonable price - now that's a good combination and is rare to come by often. Watch OUT though, for the Bake shop name!!! The one I am taking about here is in Gibbons Road and is called "Bird In Hand Bake Shop". There is another one on the Old Philadelphia Pike right across from the Farmer's market (this is in the main part of the town). I liked their Pies too, but I like Gibbons Road shop better. And I see some reviewers are referring to the Old Phily Pike shop here mixing it up with the Gibbons Road shop. They are owned by different people and the Gibbons road is the oldest in town. Old Phily Pike shop is called 'Bird In Hand Bakery and Creamery' while Gibbons Road shop is called 'Bird In Hand Bake Shop' - I know so close eh?, The first time I was in Bird In Hand and i went to the Old Phily Pike shop thinking that's the Gibbons Road shop. I realized later on and from them on always go to the Gibbons Road shop. Again, my review is for the one in Gibbons Road which is a little tucked away from the main street and has a big parking lot and benches to sit outside (in warm weather) and is right by some Amish farm.They do have some souvenirs and stuff, but the only reason I drive 2 hours is to buy their Pies. This Bake shop makes some of the best Pies in North east, if not the country. Enjoy visiting!!

I have been coming here for over ten years, and I enjoy myself each time I come! When you first walk in you are greeted by the delicious aroma of baked goods and the friendly smiles of the staff. Besides the delicious selection of baked goods, there is also a selection of souvenirs, artwork and locally made crafts. I cannot recommend this bake shop enough. I am counting down to my next visit in two weeks!

nice country setting, petting zoo and the best everything you've ever tasted . bread, pies everything. can be hectic especially with the busses.

We stopped here after going to the farmers' market across the street. There are lots of free samples. We had a terrific lunch here in the cafe. Very pleasant.

We make sure we stop here whenever in Lancaster. Their bakedgoods are wonderful. Great selection of everything from cookies, breads, pies, cakes and more.

OK, it's really a store in a nice park setting with animals to feed and nice swing chairs among the trees. But the selection of amish bake goods is outstanding along with the ice cream and jams.

This was a great stop! It had tons of jellies and jams and great souvenir items. Great place to get a snack and some bread. There were goats and chickens outside for little ones to feed and wonderful glider swings for the adults to take a break.

Love this place. It's a little blue house, although they are expanding, in front of the Farmers Market. If you love carrot cake this is the place to go. We order at least two whole cakes every year to bring back home. Everyone loves it.

Bakery is in the process of expanding. Until now, was a quaint little bakery with absolutely delicious baked goods... Shoe Fly pie is wonderful.

Great drive through the beautiful countryside. The bakery has a wide variety of baked goods and the gift shop has something for everyone. The animals are waiting to be petted and fed,which makes it ideal for any group that is in the area. The surrounding area outside is very pleasant and nice seating on the porch for those just wanting to sit and visit or enjoy the activities.

There are lot of nice bakeries in the area. The young children in my family like to feed and pet the goats. The ladies in my family love the gift shop. The setting is pretty too.

This bakery has a nice selection of baked goods which includes breads, fruit breads, pies, cakes, sticky buns, shoo fly pies and apie cakes among many others. They carry cute gifts and candies, salsa, and much more. Not just a bake shop! This is off the main road so less traffic. Gliders and swings for kids and adults are under trees by their parking lot which catches cooling breezes.

Many different items to choose from, has an Amish atmosphere , only Amish work there, there items are all good. Pies, cookies cakes, bread ,buns and shoo fly pie are only some of the items available. They also have canned items and a gift shop, I always have to go two or three times during our visit.

A wonderful bake shop that also sells Amish gift items - located in the heard of the farmland. Also a petting zoo for the children on site.
