smitty's sports bar & grill

This was my first time there, but it won't be the last. We showed up with 5 people in our party, and another 5 joining us. We did call ahead for reservations but, they were very accommodating and within a few minutes we were seated, provided with menus, and drink order taken. The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and we had a very enjoyable time!! I wouldn't even hesitate to take kids there to eat, as it doesn't have a typical "bar" atmosphere-except on weekends when they have a D.J., and most kids wouldn't be out at that time! :)

Good food! Nice people. Friendly atmosphere. Easy access from highway on way to State College. Food alone is worth trip if you live nearby. We don't drink alcohol but that was not a problem. More a pub than family style.

Seated promptly. Sports on lots of TVs. Fast, friendly service. Food better than average. Cheap beer. Live music.

It's been awhile since I visited so memory is somewhat non specific. I recall friendly wait staff, good food and a bill that seemed too low.
