stock car racing experience

I originally purchased the Drive Experience for my husband but because of certain restrictions (like having to know in advance how to drive a manual transmission and he hasn't done it in over 30 years) he was unable to do that portion. However, he traded in his certificate for a 10-lap drive for 2 3-lap ride-alongs. What an experience. You get suited up like a race driver and climb in through the window and after they strap you into a car-seat that reminded us of our grandchildren's car-seat, you are literally "off to the races". By the time you hit the first back straightaway you are up to 165 MPH. We both loved the experience and are already looking forward to returning next year.

I did the drive your own program at the track. Before you can do that you must do the Stock Car Raceway Experience which I did last year. Let me tell you, both programs are awesome. The staff at the track make sure everyone has fun but in a somewhat safe environment. The track is awesome and you really get to see what your car can do without endangering other people or breaking the law. I highly recommend taking a course on racing before you do something like this. Not only will you get the most out of your car you will also get the most out of the whole experience. It also pays to have a hot car with some horsepower. Don't show up with your four cylinder Camry. It's not fun for you or the other people on the track.

Received a 20 mile drive from my wife for Christmas. Little did she know she was creating a monster! Got to the track and did it all , 3 lap drive along (Highly recommended ). Two 20 mile drives back to back , video, pictures. Best experience you can give to a motor head. The staff was very professional and accommodating and made for an unforgettable time. Can't wait to get back and do a one on one drive!!! I'll BE BACK !!

My son and I each had 3 laps as a passenger. What a great gift idea, good father son bonding and a fast track for an awesome ride! We would do this again

I bought my husband the 20 mile drive weekday for his 50th Birthday. He absolutely enjoyed the total experience and even purchased the 3 lap drive with a driver so he could get the entire experience. I also purchased the Video and picture package which was worth every penny. You can't get the pictures they take along with the in car video - even my husband loves having this. They are extremely professional and organized - they truly make it a great experience. We went in June were rained out right before he got in the car they gave us a rain check and when I went to book it - it was a breeze. Can't say enough about what a great experience. No that you are there for a couple hours but I brought my kindle and met some really nice people who were waiting for people. It was a nice day for both of us.

I bought my husband the 3 lap experience for Christmas. He was able to easily use it in September. This event is really well organized and efficient. They have a great place for family to watch from with plenty of seating and picnic tables. My husband loved the drive and said the 3-lap ride-along, which is one of the least expensive, was a perfect amount of time. They make you feel very safe, you get suited up and an experienced person buckles the rider in and secures the helmet.... Highly recommended. I recommend purchasing the picture package, they turned out amazing and it was difficult to get good pictures on my own camera because they are going so fast.

Exhilarating white-nuckle high speed (160 + mph) tour of Pocono NASCAR raceway. There is no turn four!

This was the best gift you could receive from your children and your wife ever. The experiance at Pocono raceway is one I will never forget. The crew at Pocono are so experianced that they make you feel very comfortable from the start of the class till you get strapped in the car for the thrill of your life. They keep reminding you of being safe and I am glad they put safety at the top of there list.Once in the car the choice is yours how fast you want to go if you keep up with the pace car they will get you going very fast I topped out at 8100 RPM's and they told me that was around 162MPH what a thrill never thought I would drive a car this fast and I am 53 now!!! Thanks for everything and keep up the good work it was great. Both my children also did the ride along while we were there and they loved that as well. I did the 20 mile drive and loved every minute of it.

I bought my husband the 10 mile drive experience for combination birthday and Fathers' Day. He loved it! The staff and instructors were first rate and made him feel comfortable. He still and always will have a smile on his face when he shares his experience and is proud to say he has driven 165 mph! I took plenty of pictures and video, but I also bought the plaque package prior. The package included a professional photo and is of great quality. He will be hanging it on his garage wall. We are Nascar fans, so we corresponded the drive with the Pocono Race, since we were going to be in the area. As it turns out, our driver Dale Jr., won on the day prior to the drive, which made it even more special. I know we will surely get this again or give as a gift. Family is surely envious and he wants me to drive now! Hah! Fun times and a great memory. Thanks all!

My wife surprised me with a gift certificate for Christmas. I went for the 20 mile drive! Brought my wife, kids and even my parents showed up to take pictures and to have some fun. Everyone had a great time sitting next to the pits as I got to drive away. The staff was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone was good to go on the track. Jumped in the car and followed an instructor around the track increasing speed with every lap. I maxed out at around 150 mph and can't wait to go back. Brian

Did the 20-mile drive. From the classroom orientation to the pit crew to the on track instructor nothing but first class!! Was the thrill of a lifetime. Definitely will be back to drive again!! If you are a Nascar fan this experience is definitely for you.

Bought the 3 lap ride for my daughter for her 14th birthday. She is a car fanatic and dreams of driving race cars!!! The people where amazing! So friendly and professional. They helped create a memory that my daughter will talk about for a long time and never forget the experience. I can not thank them enough. The whole experience was a once in a life time event for my daughter and one that she will never forget

I got the drive for my husband for his 50th Birthday, well the whole trip up to Pocono (which was not far from our house) he was so excited, he could not stop smiling. Well when we got there he knew an employee from racing stock cars years back. We took my father in law with us because it was a dream of his to watch his son race in the big league. They both were very emotional the whole day. What a great experience, in fact we plan to get the Ride Along for my father in law for his birthday. My husband said this was an experience he will never forget and the best birthday present he had ever received (wait til he sees what his 60th present will be). He did this drive on Monday and still today he is texting me RACE< RACE< RACE, thank you for making dreams come true!

I bought my children & myself the 20 mile drive for Christmas...all I can say is it was the best present they ever got!! It was the most unbelievably awesome experience..from the minute we got there to the minute we left everyone was so friendly...they go over everything from soup to nuts to make you feel comfortable getting behind the wheel but I won't lie you are still nervous as crap but after 2 laps it's awesome...we will definitely do it again...thanks to all the staff who were so helpful & friendly and making our experience one we will never forget!!

well today i had the most AWESOME day ever in my life.got to fulfill my dream of driving a stock car made possible by my three great kids as a birthday present.got rained out on my first day but could hardly wait to come back on Saturday and Steve Fox,Curt my instructors were fantastic they took the time to make me feel it was my day and to enjoy myself very professional. the team that got me hooked into the car took the time to make sure i was safe and everything fit just right. and reassured me it would be okay.i did the ten mile package i drove it was a pure rush going 160MPH hahaha i would tell anyone to try this if you don`t wanna drive you can do a ride along its worth every dime.when time allows i will be back and i will bring my adult children to enjoy the gift they gave me .(wanna thank all the staff for a great Experience ) NASCAR FAN 30 PLUS YEARS SIN.
