old log church

Neat to see historic architecture like this, and the story that goes with it. It is surrounded by a historic cemetery and was built in 1806.

Spent about an hour in the church and looking at the grounds. Very historic. Reading all the old graves, seeing inside the church, the pulpit was on the top of the stairs. Beautiful!

This was first church built in this area c.1806. It is open only occasionally when there are special events several times a year. Otherwise it's a cemetery with graves dating back to building of the church & continuing to present day.
