I got two tickets for a Christmas gift. You are seated at large tables with four other couples. There is only one notebook of instructions to be used by the entire table. There were actors around but our night was sold out perhaps 200 people, so our table was neglected and all of us were first time attendees. Our table just had to wing it and we had a good time, but lacked direction. The show started 45 minutes late. The food was okay, just one salad bowl per table to pass and being at the end, only lettuce was left. Again with the main buffet, our table got the bottom of the serving trays - meat dry and most of the side dishes dry and very salty. I do not think I would come back, there are many other dinner theatres available. The actors do a very good job, but the crowd was too big for the cast to manage. Hint: bring extra money for cash bar, pictures, coat check and tips.

Finally got to the show. It was very fun. It is interactive and the actors appear to very much enjoy what they do. We had a great group at our table, which made it that much better. We heard from other diners that there are other venues that are not very good and this one is one of the best they have been to.

We had booked the show for a large group of people and got an email saying the show we had chosen had been cancelled. The email did not say anything about a refund or any other option, it just said that we should let our party know that it was cancelled. We called and they said that they don't typically offer refunds, but that we could put in a request for one or change the date. With a group of 16 people we could not all reschedule, so we decided to get the refund. We called back several times with no answer and left numerous messages and emails. Clearly they are avoiding the calls because they do not want to give us a refund. I found it outrageous that they cancelled the show and are not going to contact you to offer a refund, let alone give you a refund after calling numerous times. I will never be booking another show!!

Being one of two busy single moms it's hard to get a date that worked, so leave us say getting cancelled on even if they reschedule is a reason never to go again or recommend regardless of how it is. Imagine if you were not local and didn't have an option to reschedule. Will update if I ever get a chance to attend...

Bad storm that night and the lights went out in Eastpointe Manor before the dinner was even served. No flashlights available, no emergency exit lights working, a few lighted cell phones. Couldn't see the food, don't know for sure what was served. Couldn't see the crime or performances, our "suspect" couldn't read his role. Couldn't take notes, it was bad all around. The actors did their best, service was good, but thought it should have been refunded. I couldn't tell you if it would have been an enjoyable evening, it wasn't. Funny that the lights on the building lighting the parking lot was working and neighborhood had lights. I want my evening back.

Got tickets on groupon for half off. Don't forget to reserve your date. First off, there was not enough parking, so get there early and carpool. Had to park on the street that had no parking signs and risk it. Dinner of salad and rolls, a self serve buffet of pastas, green beans, potatoes, etc., and a small ice cream dessert was included in the price. Drinks cost extra. One person from each table of about 10 will become a "suspect". There is a binder on the table that you follow throughout the night. At one point we were supposed to have turned the page, but did not hear them announce it. There are awards at the end of the night for who figured out the murderer, best accents, best costumes, etc. It was overall a good time, but could have been organized better. The binders should just have simple bullet points for your character, not long drawn out paragraphs. Although the actors were great, the participating suspects were often to timid when using the microphone, and therefore we could not hear everyone. It lasted 2 hours and doors open 30 minutes before that. Fix a few problems and this could be an even better event.

I have never had so much fun than at one of these dinners. I can't wait till their next show to go again.

My husband and I purchased this package through Living Social. We were greeted by a couple of the actors when we arrived and the entertainment does get started right away. When our whole table arrived we were greeted by one of the actors, who choose one person from each table who becomes one of the suspects. The actor also explains how everything will unfold throughout the evening. We are handed one binder with directions and clues in it that we all have to read throughout the evening. I think that it would have been more enjoyable if there wasn’t so many suspects and if it was a smaller group of people in attendance. It felt a bit complicated to me, with too much going on around me and it was hard to keep track of all the clues that were given throughout the evening. We were also seated with a group of people who already knew each other, so I felt a bit out of place. The tables sat around 10 people each and there were approximately 15ish tables in total. So you can see with there being 15ish suspects, in total, it can get boring and confusing. The actors on the other hand were excellent and kept the group entertained throughout the evening. The buffet dinner was okay, nothing spectacular and it was a bit on the cold side. However, to be fair I am really not a big fan of buffet style meals. The evening was fun and worth trying out at least once. I believe I would have enjoyed it more if the group was smaller. Most likely, I won’t go to one of these types of events again.

My wife and I went to the Eastpointe Manor for the Murder Mystery Dinner. It was very entertaining. The venue is perfect. It's held in a large banquet hall. The actors were excellent and very funny. The mystery is very well done and gets everyone involved. The food was pretty good, buffet style. Drinks were extra but reasonably priced. All in all a great evening.

I went to a dinner with my mother and we both had a blast! It was a gift for her birthday and randomly she was chosen to participate in the activities (I hadn't told them it was her birthday)! She loved it! It was a little confusing at first, but we figured it out and had fun interacting with the characters and coming up a suspect. The actors were hilarious and really got into their parts, which made it even more fun! Definitely would do this again!

I went with a group of 8 people. I thought it was a lot of fun! You sit at a table of 10 so if you go with only 2 people be prepared to talk and discuss with your whole group. A definite fun night out :)

My boyfriend loves to read mysteries so I thought this would be something different and fun to do for his birthday. We had a great time!! There are different themes with actors and people from the audience involved in the murder mystery. Clues are given throughout the evening. The actors were very funny. There are 10 people at each table who become a team to try to solve the mystery. There was a lot of silliness to this and we had a great time as did everyone else in the manor (we think around 200 people of all (adult) ages). The food was good, nothing special, and plentiful, but food was not the focus. Alcohol was available. All in all, a great evening!!!

I wanted something different than just going out to eat, to the movies, or to the comedy club, so I bought Living Social and Groupon vouchers for this. I'm glad I did. I was hesitant at first once things were starting up, but that quickly changed. It was a VERY FUN time! (for all ages. I brought my parents who are in their late 40s/early 50s, and then my friend and myself mid/late 20s.) I'll be sure to attend more shows in the future. (They have different themes. This was the "Wild West theme").... The actors/actresses did a great job, which was impressive; much fun. "Choco-Vanilla Swirl"... yeaaaa, all we do is win, win, wiiiiin no matta what!

We bought our tickets through a livingsocial deal. I've always wanted to do a murder mystery dinner, and didn't know what to expect. Our theme for the night was "wanted dead or alive" , it was a western gun fight show. The cast was great , and very in to it. I laughed all night, they did a great job of getting everyone into the show and really making the night fun. A lot of people dressed up and it really made the night more fun. The food was good and I would love to do it again !

My girlfriend gave me this experience as a birthday gift she purchased from Groupon. My husband and I always wanted to attend a murder mystery, but never had. I certainly had it on my bucket list. They had a western theme and asked their guests to wear western theme clothing or hats, or come as you are. What a great evening, the actors were terrific and food was great. I am still thinking about the food. I also really enjoyed working with other guests at my table to solve the murder. My husband and I laughed all evening. What a stress reducer! Rita H.
