Beautiful surroundings, quite challenging for a non golfer. Club house offers the necisities with a menu of food to satisfy most people. They support the community schools with functions. Nothing negative

We had 10 of us on our annual golf trip, where we stayed at Crystal Mountain on the resort. During the few months beforehand, we found this course on a GroupGolfer deal for $24 - including lunch! We all bought this so we could play a 2nd round on one of the days. It was a 40 minute drive from Crystal, but it was well worth it. As soon as we walked into the clubhouse, GroupGolfers in hand I might add, we were treated with the utmost respect! Usually once a course sees those GG vouchers, you instantly become that P.O.S. that wanted to save a buck on golf! They whipped out the lunch orders right when got there because we were hungry and everything we had was really good! It included a lot of different options, not just your standard wiener at the turn hahaThe best part of it all was the beer selection - so many choices with all the pricing and package deals right there on the wall! The other good part, it was some of the cheapest beer prices that I've seen - how do they make money on that?! They even had pint cans of three different Right Brain beers, brewed locally in Traverse City at a really good price!One of our group members didn't buy the GroupGolfer deal, and the course charged him the $24 AND gave him the free lunch too - all without a voucher.....that is UNHEARD of with the GroupGolfer program, something so simple made us really happy!!I would recommend this course to anybody for that price! The grounds were a little hard and brown in spots, but I heard they didn't get a drop of rain for a month and half. The carts were a little worn down, but all considered it was a great deal!!

I bought a groupGolfer package for $24 that included one round, cart and lunch. What a tremendous deal.Great looking links style golf course running through Manton. Played pretty challenging. The course is in rough shape likely due to the harsh winter. My golf cart could also stand some maintenance. If back in the area, I would definitely play again.
