I went for the first time in over twenty year's. All I can say is its bigger than I remember. If you're looking for anything Christmas related this is the place.
I always spend way too much money here. We come at least once a year, and have done so for many years. You can find just about anything you want that is Christmassy here, whatever style or theme you prefer. It is very crowded in November and December. The crowds tend to thin out later in the afternoon as it gets close to supper time, though. Be sure and pick up the free map and grab a cart. It helps to pick a direction and stick with it, if you want to see the whole place. (I always go counter-clockwise, for some reason.) The restrooms are centrally located, and there is a little cafe, so you can take a break. (Or it's a place to meet the less-enthusiastic members of your party. In fact, there is large TV that usually has sports on it and plenty of chairs near the one of the entrances.)
If you are looking for a specific theme in a Christmas ornament, you are sure to find it here. The store is jammed packed with every thing Christmas you could ever need. However, I did find that the prices were bit steep.
Oh my word! This place was lots of fun! Lots and LOTS of things to look at. Most at really great prices. Friendly staff. Kids loved it! Would probably go again.
My wife and I have stopped at Bronner's every time we have passed through the area and I cannot say I have ever been bored or disappointed. It is the biggest Christmas extravaganza in the world! My opinion of course. Everything about this business is top drawer. The staff very helpful. The prices are reasonable and the products are of good quality, and I guarantee that you can find an ornament/souvenir for anyone and every occupation in the world! I admire the Bronner's spirit and faith in the Christmas Spirit. Even this store if a little way off the Interstate highway, I think you will be happy you made the effort to stop by (especially if your wife is along)! And finally, I must point out that Bronner's is near another "MUST SEE" location: Frankenmuth, Michigan, an authhentic slice of Bavaria in Michigan!
Went on a Saturday morning, not busy at all, easy to look around with the kids, had 14% off special, was nice
We stopped into Bronner's in late December. This is at least the tenth time I've been in Frankenmuth and shopped in Bronners. You have to see it to believe it. Practically anything you can think of related to Christmas, they have it. They have a wide variety of Nativity scenes and sets. A display shelf above the shopping floor contains many different large Christmas lawn decorations and Christmas scenes. If you go to Bronners, be sure to visit the Silent Night Chapel along the front of the property. It tells the story of the popular Christmas Carol and plays silent night in many languages. You can sit in the back of the chapel and enjoy the music. If you are looking for unique or specialty Christmas ornaments, this is the place. It is so big that I have never walked from end to end in one visit. It usually takes two days. They give you a map when you come in the door!
The store is so beautiful even from it's entrance. There are too much pretty things you may want to buy. And it is large enough for your wonderful shopping.
If you like some Christmas Spirit outside of Christmas season, this is the place. Arriving is like getting to Disneyland. There are lots of Christmas displays, both religious and secular, to drive and/or walk by. The recreation of the church where "Silent Night" was written is interesting is that it is so small.Once inside the store, again it's like Disneyland. There's just so much stuff everywhere, you'll have a hard time deciding where to look first - on the shelves, in visual displays, up on the walls, or even on the ceilings. It's PACKED!!I collect Santas everywhere I go. I try to get something demonstrative of the area I'm visiting. This had Santas from all over the world. I did find one marching through the north woods on snow shoes that makes me think of Northern Michigan in the winter. Not only was it reasonably priced, but they also artistically labeled it for me as I requested for free. The key here is understanding that the originator, Mr. Bronner, believed in the importance and spirit of Christmas and chose to celebrate it all year long. Yes, it's a store, but it's a testament to to idea of a wholesome family Christmas.
Thanks for your recent visit. Bronner's does absolutely scale down our staff seasonally. Since snow hit Michigan hard in early February it's likely that most visitors were still cozily at home.
Bronner's Christmas Wonderland is truly something special. There are so many things to see and enjoy from every corner of the world. It is also interesting to see and read about the history of Bronner's and it's famous vistors. Plan on spending a good hour or more in this store.
Open 361 days a year, this is THE place to go for Christmas items. The store is amazing both inside and out. They have a large selection of items from modern day ornaments to the harder-to-find classics. Plan on spending several hours here in order to see everything. Lots of Christmas displays up all over the store. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Although we're glad you made it to Bronner's, we’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed in your visit. Your comment was a bit surprising based on other feedback we receive. Our sparkle and maintenance teams work hard to keep our buildings and property clean and in excellent condition for our guests. Decorative displays at various levels throughout the store (including nearly 300 decorated trees) are designed to delight the eye. Songs of the season play overhead to add to our guests’ Christmas experience. Our Season’s Eatings snack area offers snack and light-lunch items including decorated Christmas cookies year round. Approximately 100,000 lights illuminate our half-mile-long Christmas Lane each evening. If there was something in particular you felt was rundown we would appreciate your contacting our customer service team with more detail. Thank you.
We go here a least a couple times a year. It's fun to walk through what seems to be a million Christmas items and check out what's different. Bring your walking shoes and be prepared to stay for several hours.
I've been here multiple times, but this time took my daughters with me for the first time. They are both internationally adopted and for the first time I noticed how few international ornament choices they have. The have a "world" sections, which has many European countries, but the other continents are poorly represented.
