This was our first stop of the day, and it was wonderful. Great view, and the host was very knowledgeable as he made the wines himself. He answered our questions with patience and was also entertaining. Every time we are in town we will visit this winery.
We have always enjoyed visiting Robller. Since we are local, we usually go out later on a Sunday afternoon since most of the St Louis and Kansas City crowd has left by then. The location allows you to enjoy your glass/bottle of wine while appreciating the outdoors without the distraction of any nearby neighbors/businesses.
We stop seversl times a year. We care local but it is a good place to go and just relax on nice day. When we entertain, we buy our wine at Robller for the selection covers most tastes.
Where else can you enjoy the best bottled Missouri varietals, while commiserating with Robert Miller, the owner and operator. They have a charming place, made homey by their friendliness and willingness to make you a part of their home.Once you stop in,you'll make it one of your favorite destinations ... as we have!
We had a great time at Roblier vineyard. Situated in the middle of the vineyard the view is fantastic!
Friendly owners, great products, live music ( fiddlers on the deck on a beautiful sunday afternoon. It was a great short stop during a Sunday scenic drive . They are more off the road than the sign says, though; it says 0.1 mile but it must be at least half a mile down a gravel road.
When staying at the Lodge nearby I had to visit the local winery. Feast magazine May 2014 listed Top Picks. Friendly place and nice view, a big pavilion for music events. I did the wine tasting being curious and I promise you the best wines are found here! Robller Traminette won me over being a dry white. I also purchased my favorite Norton a dry red wine aged in MO Oak. You won't go wrong tasting any of their fine wines and will want them all! They also have music events coming in mid-August Reggae, be sure to check their website for happenings.
We were met and greeted by the "welcome dogs"...then by a friendly employee. The tasting was ample and free, the person explained each one and geared it towards our preference for dry wines. The setting and scenic view was lovely. We went home with several bottles.
In this part of the country, wineries generally make their whites semi-sweet to sweet and, so as a rule, I avoid them (don't like drinking pancake syrup). At tastings I start at the dry reds and stay there. My wife tried their Seyval 2012(?). She stopped and said I had to try it! Oh my! 1st bottle disappeared sitting on their deck eating our picnic lunch (outside food is welcome). Owner stopped by and talked for 15 minutes. The family dogs stopped by and allowed themselves to be patted and scratched for the duration.Wonderful experience. Visited 5/24/14
We visited Robller's about 3 years ago and just returned in August 2013! We love the hospitality of this little winery and the wine is awesome. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Beautiful hilly scenery to take in off their patio. We also took a bottle back to our B&B to enjoy watching the Missouri River.
Lovely place to spend the afternoon, just outside of New Haven, Missouri. Take highway 100 west from Washington, Missouri and go about 7 miles. There are signs and it is on the left side of the highway. Robert and Lois Mueller really put this place on the map! The wines are fabulous and we highly recommend this winery!
